Respected Sir,
I am writing to bring to the attention of the concerned authorities on a pressing issue that requires immediate
action—the insufficient security arrangements in our educational institutions. As a parent and a concerned
citizen, I feel it is crucial to address the safety of students and staff in our schools and universities.
Recently, there have been incidents which show how vulnerable our educational places are. It’s been
noticed that many institutions do not have strong security systems in place. Many lack proper
surveillance cameras, secure fences, and trained security personnel. On top of that, emergency
procedures are either outdated or not well communicated, making it more dangerous if something were
to happen.
I urge the authorities to take immediate action by reviewing and improving security arrangements in all
educational institutions. This should include installing modern security equipment, hiring trained
security staff, conducting regular safety drills, and working closely with local law enforcement.
Additionally, strict rules for entering and leaving school grounds must be enforced to make sure no
unauthorized person can enter.
The safety of our children must be the top priority, and we cannot afford to take this matter lightly. By
taking steps now, we can ensure a safer environment for both students and educators.
Thank you for addressing this important issue, and I hope the authorities will act quickly to improve
the security in our schools and universities.
Yours truly,
X.Y.Z.

Respected Sir,
I am writing to share my concerns about the growing problem of heavy traffic and regular traffic jams in our
city. As a daily commuter, I see how the worsening traffic is affecting both the movement of vehicles and the
quality of life for many people.
The roads in our city are often blocked, especially during rush hours, making it hard for people to reach
their destinations on time. Sitting in traffic for a long time is not only frustrating but also leads to
higher fuel usage and more air pollution, which harms the environment and people’s health.
Additionally, emergency vehicles like ambulances and fire trucks struggle to get through the traffic,
which is dangerous in critical situations.
One of the main reasons for traffic jams is the large increase in the number of vehicles, while road
infrastructure has not improved enough to handle the load. Poor road conditions, illegal parking, and
the lack of a proper traffic management system make the situation worse. Many people are forced to
use private vehicles due to limited public transport options, which adds to the problem.
I urge the authorities to take immediate action to address these issues. Solutions could include
widening and improving roads, enforcing stricter traffic rules, removing illegal structures that block
roads, and encouraging the use of public transport. Installing smart traffic systems, such as
synchronized traffic lights and special lanes for buses, could also help ease congestion. Fixing this
issue will require the cooperation of both the authorities and the public. I hope quick action will be
taken to ensure smoother traffic flow and improve transportation in our city.
Yours sincerely,
X.Y.Z.
Write a letter to editor of a newspaper on reckless driving and road accidents, their causes and solution.

Respected Sir,
Through the esteemed column of your newspaper, I wish to draw the attention of the concerned
authorities and the public towards the perilous issue of reckless driving to frequent road accidents in
city ABC. Every day, I see drivers speeding, ignoring traffic signals, and driving carelessly. This kind
of behavior puts everyone's life in danger—drivers, passengers, and pedestrians alike.
Road accidents are becoming more frequent, causing serious injuries and even deaths. One of the main
reasons for this is that many drivers do not follow traffic rules. They speed, overtake dangerously and
use mobile phones while driving. These actions are not only illegal but also very risky.
The lack of strict enforcement of traffic laws makes the problem worse. Many drivers think they can
get away with reckless driving because they won’t be caught or fined. This attitude needs to change if
we want to make our roads safer.
I urge the authorities to take strict action against reckless drivers and enforce traffic laws more
effectively. Speed limits should be monitored, traffic signals should be respected, and heavy fines
should be imposed on those who break the rules. More awareness programs should also be launched to
educate people about road safety and the importance of careful driving. I hope that through this
platform my voice will reach to everyone.
Thank you.

Respected Sir,
Through your reputed newspaper, I would like to raise awareness about a very grim issue of these days i.e. cell
phone addiction among our youth. While smartphones have many benefits, their excessive use is becoming a
serious concern, especially for young people who spend a large part of their day on these devices.
Many young people are glued to their phones, using social media, playing games, or browsing the internet for
hours. This addiction is affecting their mental and physical health. They are losing valuable time that could be
spent studying, exercising, or interacting with family and friends. It is also leading to problems like lack of
focus, poor sleep, and even depression and anxiety.
One major issue is that many young people don’t realize they are addicted. They often see it as normal to
spend several hours a day on their phones. This is why it is important to raise awareness about the harmful
effects of phone addiction and encourage healthier habits.
Parents, schools, and society as a whole need to play a role in tackling this problem. Schools can organize
workshops on the dangers of excessive phone use, and parents should monitor their children’s screen time and
encourage outdoor activities and face-to-face conversations. More awareness campaigns in the media can also
help highlight this growing issue. By taking steps to address cell phone addiction, we can help our youth lead
healthier, more balanced lives.
Thank you for giving me space in your newspaper to add my share in welfare of the society.
Yours Sincerely,
X.Y.Z.

about widespread Dengue.

Respected Sir,
I am writing to bring attention to the urgent need to raise awareness about the spread of Dengue in our
community. With the rise in Dengue cases, it is important to educate people about the dangers of the
disease and how to prevent it.
One effective way to do this is by organizing seminars that can inform the public about the symptoms
of Dengue, how it spreads, and the steps people can take to protect themselves. These seminars can be
held in schools, community centers, and public places to reach as many people as possible. Health
experts can provide valuable information about keeping our surroundings clean, avoiding stagnant
water, and using mosquito repellents.
Raising awareness is key to controlling the spread of Dengue, and I believe the media can play an
important role in encouraging such initiatives. I request the authorities to take this matter seriously and
organize these seminars to help protect our community from this dangerous disease.
Yours truly,
X.Y.Z.
