 Introduction MR40 is a wireless router with 4 ethernet ports embedded and 2.4GHz and 5.8Ghz Wi-Fi interfaces.
The router is provided with 2 Wi-Fi antennas (Marked 2.4/5.8) and 4 LTE/5G antennas.

 Introduction The first connection on your CPE can be done through LAN or through Wi-Fi.
To use the physical link, you need connect a LAN cable between a PC to your CPE (LANx port)
To use a Wi-Fi connection, the default SSID is MR40_XXXXX or MR40_5ghz_XXXXX (XXXXX are the last 5
digits of the serial number of the device) and the default password is 12345678.

Login To access to your router interface, you need to enter the router’s IP address (By default : 192.168.1.1) into
your Browser.

Insert the default credentials that can be found on the back of the Router. (Default: Username : root /
Password : admin)

Credentials After your successful login, the web interface will recommend you to change your password.

Note that this is not mandatory, but strongly recommended!
To change your login Password:
• On the web interface , in the side bar menu System , go to Administration.
• Input your new password and the confirmation.
• Click on ‘SAVE’ button.

 3.1 CHANGE SSID WI-FI

Overview

Change Wi-Fi On your web interface , in the side bar menu Network , go to Wireless.

• Select a wireless connection and click on EDIT button.
• Change your SSID in General Setup.
• Press on SAVE then SAVE & APPLY button

3.2 CHANGE WI-FI PASSWORD

Change On your web interface , in the side bar menu Network , go to Wireless.

• Press on SAVE then SAVE & APPLY button

MAKE SURE TO SAVE THEN PRESS SAVE & APPLY IN ORDER TO APPLY CHANGES!

 4.1 ROUTER STATUS
Introduction On your web interface, in the MODEM tab , click on NETWORK STATUS

Your Modem will automatically assign an available sim card based on the physicality of your
router , the status of your modem changes to READY in a matter of time.

Modem Status: Ready , Registered in 4G network.

 4.2 LED LIGHTS SIGNIFICATION
Description The MR40 product has in total 6 LED.
• PWR
• SYS
• 2.4G
• 5.8G
• 4G/5G
• USB
At Normal Usage , your router will have the power on LED in addition to Wi-Fi frequency LED lights on.
During an update or the starting-up the led SYS is blinking.

Overview

PWR Off: Powered Off
On : Powered on
SYS Off : System is running normally
Blinking : Operation system on going (starting up, update…)
2.4G Off: WIFI is off.
On: WIFI is on.
Blinking: WIFI has data traffic.
5.8G Off: WIFI is off.
On: WIFI is on.
Blinking: WIFI has data traffic.
4G/5G Modem registered to the network

Tricks The behavior of these LEDs can be modified in the side menu SYSTEM and the item LED configuration.

 4.3 ROUTER UPDATE
Introduction On the web interface, in side menu SYSTEM , go to BACKUP/FLASH FIRMWARE , then click on FLASH IMAGE.
Use the Browse Button to select the update file.

-Click UPLOAD , then check the box (“KEEP SETTINGS AND RETAIN THE CURRENT CONFIGURATION”)
-Click CONTINUE.
IN AROUND 3 MINUTES , THE CPE WILL BE UPDATED AND YOUR ROUTER WILL BE UPDATED
