Respected Principal,
I am writing to inform you about an unfortunate incident involving my son, Abhirup Das, a
student of Class IX, Section D, Roll Number 2, and ID No. 17671, of the Commerce
Department.
On 31st August 2024, during the Interhouse Football Tournament, Abhirup sustained a
serious injury and broke his leg. We were promptly informed by the school nurse and have
already notified both his class teacher and the games teacher regarding the situation.
As it was informed before to the school through a letter and doctor’s certificate, Abhirup
sustained a fracture and has been on bed rest for the past two months. Recently, during a
follow-up appointment, the doctor informed us that he will require an additional month of
bed rest following the removal of the plaster. This extended recovery period is essential for
ensuring a full and healthy recovery.
Given these circumstances, we kindly request your understanding and support for Abhirup
during this time. It would be greatly appreciated if you could grant him the necessary
accommodations, such as extended leave and Classwork Assignments, to help him catch up
with his studies once he is able to return to school.

understanding as Abhirup focuses on his recovery.
