Fashion

Normally I prefer wearing jeans, skinny jeans exactly because I can pair
with them everything for example a nice pullover, T- shirt or blouse. I not
often wear a patterned cloth item because I like simple but fancy and
little elegant items. I often wear a skirt or a dress with tights and pair
them with a jacket which are my favourite items from my wardrobe. I
have a light blue denim jacket and a light pink leatherette (műbőr) jacket.
Unfortunately, I can only wear them in spring and autumn. I always wear
a jewellery because I have a silver necklace and a white- gold ring and I
often match them with a nice earring.
Of course it depends on the weather what I put on. Winter I always wear
a warm coat a scarf and boots and sometimes I take my gloves with
myself. When it rains I take an umbrella and some people wear a
wellington and a mackintosh. When spring comes people start wearing
jackets instead of big fur coats and change their boots into sneakers.
Summer people usually wear shorts with a T- shirt or girls wear a skirt
with a top or a dress and match them with slippers or sandals. Naturally
we wear a bikini, or a swimming dresses when we go to the beach. My
favourite season is autumn. I always wear my jackets and pair whatever I
want with them.
For everyday wearing men often choose durable jeans, which has a good
quality and match it with a T- shirt or a sports sweater and wear sneakers
which are very popular nowadays along people. They wear pants under
the jeans and socks. When they go out they choose a black leather or a
blue denim jacket to cover themselves. When a man goes to a party or a
conference, he usually wears a black or a dark coloured suit with an
elegant leather shoe and a tie. Men usually wear watches attached to
their wrist. Nowadays a lot of men wear colourful items for example a
pink or purple T- shirt.
Women usually wear nice and fancy clothes and marked or branded
clothes also very popular. They must be well- dressed and nice to please
themselves and men. For everyday wearing a woman usually wears pants
and bras and jeans with a blouse or a nice dress or skirt above. A well-
dressed woman always looks elegant and as I see it her clothes are
reserved, clean and nice. They have to be choosy about cloth items they
would like to wear. For example, my mum is an extremely well- dressed
woman. Her favourite colour is dark blue and she has a lots of dresses in
this colour which she wears in holidays or when people usually tog out
(kiöltözni). When she works she usually wears a pair of skinny jeans with
a nice pullover or with an elegant blouse. She always put a little make- up
on her face and she is always looks stunning.
In my opinion fashion is a good thing to express ourselves. I always wear
whatever I want and I believe I have a good taste of clothes. I always care
with my appearance and I hate to go out when I feel myself
uncomfortable in my outfit. I always prepare myself before I go to school
or go shopping.
In my family my grandma can sew furthermore she has already sewed
clothes to us when we needed an item for example glad-rags (ünneplő
ruha) or tops. Once I would like to being able to make clothes myself
because it is a good issue not buying fast- fashion clothes so it is on my
bucket list.
In Hungary people don’t wear such colourful or marked colours like in
the big fashion cities such as Paris or New York but when they go to
parties or go out with friends they wear fancy clothes. Unfortunately, in
my village there is no club or community centres which cater for the
cultural requirements of the population but in the town nearby there are
some where people can improve their talents. These clubs sometimes
organise concerts or little plays and often offer the collected money to
help handicapped people. (hátrányoshelyzetűek) There are also some
specialized civil organisations which help people who don’t have enough
opportunities or money and need some aids.
