What to do?
• Don’t carry tools or materials up a

JBOG – 12 Golden Rules
1. Work with valid work permit
2. Conduct gas tests when required
3. Verify isolation before work begins
4. Obtain authorization before entering a confined Space
5. Obtain authorization before overriding or disabling
safety critical equipment
6. Protect against falls when working at height
7. Do not walk under suspended load
8. Do not smoke outside designated smoking areas
9. No alcohol or drugs while working or driving
10. While driving do not use your cell phone or speed
11. Wear your seat belt
12. Follow prescribed journey management plan.

JBOG – Weekly Safety Huddles
Every Sunday all JBOG contractors carry
out weekly Safety Huddles which serve
as a direct message from the Project
Contractors’ Leadership to the work
force.

During the huddles the following


information is normally delivered to
attention of the personnel:
• Achievements – updates in progress
• Incidents, Unsafe acts, Lessons
Learnt
• Changes in Standards, Safety System
of Work
• Award ceremonies – Project
incentive program
At the end of the safety huddles the
workers are given a chance to ask
questions, to bring forward their
concerns/initiatives.

area . This area is habitat for
several species such as ORYX,
Ostrich, Antelopes etc. JBOG
team is providing Rest shelters ,
Feeding trays and Water troughs
for animals living in this area

JBOG – Pre Screening / Physical Exams / Training
Training Passport:
JBOG Project provides training passport to all
project personnel for capturing their IIF and SHES
trainings.

Training facility:
JBOG Project have excellent training facility which
include Training rooms , Practical training set up for
working at height etc.
JBOG project requires each personnel joining the
project to go for mandatory trainings such as Basic
Safety Orientation and Incident injury free orientation.
Medical examination and pre screening is prerequisite
before personnel receive JBOG Access Badge.
