A Preparatory Checks
1 Check all cabling / wiring terminated and in safe condition
2 Check all preservation media removed
3 Check visually for damage, cleanliness and foreign material presence
4 Re-instate wiring and process connections after the test
5 Check Labeling / Numbering of equipment is correct
6 Confirm component & Type / Model is correct
7 Confirm cable connections & all terminations correct.
8 Check there is no mechanical damage to equipment
9 Confirm Glanding condition correct
10 Check all field devices are correct types for their designated location Area Classification.
11 End of Line Resistor fitted if required.
12 Check installation of gas test tubing to high level / remote sensors
13 Confirm device location is correct
14 Check Earthing arrangements correct to specification.
15 Ensure preservation during construction
16 Ensure access for Cover removal
