Durable, Flexible,

1861MIL-40HDC. This product is best for framing
landscape beds, paver, driveway, its color match
the paver compared to the plastic "polyurethane"
Black one which is best for garden beds around
tree or plant since it match the soil color, "I
reviewed before it's an excellent product". the
Material used here is Aluminum in thickness of
1/16" , weather Resistant and durable yet flexible
enough to bend for curves and cuttable, spikes are
strong but best if predrill unless the ground is not
too hard, it maybe little pricey but compared to the
quality and cost of entire project and end result it'll
be worthy. This product is very pleasant and
money well spend, Highly Recommended

Worked great! I pre-drilled the stake holes with a

long bit in my cordless drill. These held the edge
while I installed pavers between. Awesome! They
look great and are sturdy enough.

Not yet installed. Poor packaging

and delivery.
These appear to be good quality and “Mill” finish is
basically silver color. Arrived in very flimsy boxes
that were torn in several places which meant we
had to confirm nothing fell out. Also, these are not
in any type of protective plastic bag/covering so
they can easily arrive damaged—only spikes come
in a bag. NOTE: Reconsider how you package this
so we avoid hassles on both ends. **Will update
once installed.

Easy to use and bend

I selected this paver edging to design a brick
walkway surrounded by landscaping beds.
Opening the box I immediately noticed ProFlex
provided more anchoring spikes than brands I
have bought in the past (36 to be exact). The
aluminum edges create straight lines, but also have
the flexibility to bend curves. With very little effort, I
made subtle curves by just hammering the spikes
into the ground. This will be much easier than the
fiberglass edges I used in the past. Take in
consideration when determining your footage that
in order to adjoin the pieces, you will lose a few
inches the way the holes are spaced. Advertised as
not rusting, I have plans for other projects with this
edging in the future.

Professional look, easy to install,

and keeps pavers in place!
We have an entrance to the home that is dirt and
tracks in way too much dirt. So, I decided to install
a paver walkway, but needed some way to keep
the pavers in place. I went with the ProFlex
Aluminum paver edging for many reasons - the first
being that I didn't have to do any digging to set
these in. After leveling the area, I just set these
down to where I need them, set them in place with
the stakes, and lay down the concrete pavers to
the pattern I needed. I like how the color closely
matches that of my concrete pavers. The L-shape
this edging makes ensures my pavers will stay in
place for many years to come. I like how the edges
don't ride up to the top of my concrete pavers,
allowing me to backfill the soil right up to the
height of the pavers, so there is nothing to trip
over. Since this paver edging won't rust or become
brittle, I have the peace of mind knowing I won't
have to redo this project in a few short years. To
join sections together, I simply overlapped the final
tab and ran a stake through both tabs using a
mallet. I used a hacksaw to easily cut the section
lengths I needed. I must say - the milling finish on
these is very nice! For those installing this
landscape and paver edging above ground, this
will really give you a professional look! This ProFlex
paver edging was easy to work with and made
quick work of my project.

An Awesome Aluminum Edging!

This ProFlex Aluminum No-Dig Landscape and
Paver Edging is edging is a great choice. It is a
professional grade quality landscape or paver. Can
be used on your landscape beds, gardens,
driveways, walkways, and many other uses. Very
easy to use and easily creates straight lines or
curves for any installation shape with the flexible
aluminum pieces. VERY Easy to install, just level
the area and remove any debris, align the edging
to your desired area, and use a rubber mallet to
pound the included anchoring stakes (36 stakes
included) into the ground. Cover with your
preferred ground cover or pavers. Also claims to
be made in the USA, which for me is a HUGE
PLUS. Great look and I am installing this around a
new garden area in my front yard where I placed
pavers to make a walkway and surround a tree.
The kit includes x8 5-foot edging pieces and 36
nylon anchoring spikes.

Quality Paver Edging but May Not

Be Durable for Grass Edging on
Soft Soil
ProFlex Landscape and Paver Edging is easy to
form into relatively tight patterns, yet rigid enough
to retain its shape in most circumstances. Eight 5-
foot lengths were included in the box along with 24
8-inch hard plastic spikes. I needed several 4-foot
diameter rings around my front yard trees. Some
simple geometry indicated I needed to use 14 feet
(12.5 feet circumference plus approximately 6
inches for each overlap joint) to form my 4-foot
circles, allowing for the recommended overlap at
joints. A fine-tooth carbide blade in my miter saw
made quick work of cutting the required pieces.
With some care, I finally had a near perfect circle
comprised of three pieces of edging. Making a
template first would have made the job easier. For
my next ring, I'm going to draw a 4-foot circle on
the cardboard on my garage floor. The dark finish
on the edging looks like it will last - appears to be
anodized rather than painted or powder coated.
Obviously, because it is aluminum, corrosion
shouldn't be much of an issue. I gave the edging a
4-star rating primarily because I'm concerned
about long-term viability of the edging when
running over it with my lightweight electric mower.
Because my soil is soft, just the weight of the
mower may bend the edging. Because I've laid
pavers before, this edging should hold up well in
that environment because of the compacted based
material and the more even distribution of weight
by pavers. The installation instructions recommend
an overlap at joints which should work well, but for
a tight bend which ends up at a joint, other
methods might be better. Better planning could
avoid a joint at a tight bend, but when making a
small-diameter circle, there's no way to avoid such
a situation. I'm going to experiment with using a
small scrap of edging or other aluminum secured
with stainless steel screws to bridge a butt-joint.
That should result in a smoother joint. Overall, the
edging is well-built and is easy to work to the
desired shaped. However, "easy to bend" may
mean it's not rigid enough for soft soil applications.
The plastic spikes are high-quality and were easily
driven into my soft soil. They should also work well
in harder soils because they are 5/16 inch thick
and rigid. The spikes aren't as strong as steel
spikes for those who have very hard soil.
Additionally, I'd like to see these made in 10-foot
lengths to reduce the number of joints on longer
edging runs. Permanent installation will have to
wait until I remove the fence posts stabilizing my
trees which will happen as soon as the leaves fall
in the next few weeks.

Easy to install
This is very easy to use and install. It has a nice
black finish. It looks nicer than I expected. I haven’t
used the edger near it yet, so I’m not sure how it
will stand up to scratches. The stakes are long. As
long as you hammer them in all the way, you
should not have any issues with it lifting up. This
does bend fairly easy. Nail one end first and then
shape as needed.

Recommend for Pavers or Brick

Edging
This is great for Patio Pavers or Brick Edging. Easy
to install. With provided Nylon Spikes, will hold
Bricks/Pavers in place. At 1 ¾”, it is short for
Landscape Edging. Not sure it would hold much in
place. Seems to me, the website pics are
computer graphics; and visually imply they will
hold back a lot (e.g. bark or gravel). It bends easy,
can be cut to size and they claim it can be bent to
a 90 Degree Angle (using a 2x4), to make corners.
It has a decorative face (see pic). There are eight 5’
lengths (making 40’), but they recommend
overlapping the end spikes, which removed 4” per
connection. They come in 3 Color options; Black,
Bronze and Mill (Silver). In Hindsight, wish I got
Black, to match my landscape lights. If you need to
move them, a Crowbar easily pulls up the spikes.

Easy to use
We are using this to trim around a flower bed in our
backyard. It is very well made and easy to work
with. We are hopeful that due to the apparent
quality of this product, that it will hold up for a long
time The stablizing spikes are long enough that it
seems like they will hold this in place even as the
ground gets wet. So far we are very pleased with
the look we are getting with this
