Operational parameters:
[Regardless of climate... [The solution] Nominal output
Power regulation
950 kW
Stall
Cut-in 3.5 m/s
Cut-out 25 m/s
Rotor
Rotor diameter 54.5 m
Rotor swept area 2333 m2
Number of blades 3
Rotor revolutions 22/15 rpm
Rotor placing Upwind rotor
8°
5. The 950 kW rated power is attained regardless of
air density and contamination
6. The blade pitch position is typically reviewed every
30 minutes
7. High power correction: immediate blade pitching
action is taken in order to avoid high power levels
8. In case of any malfunction in the pitch system the
turbine continues operating as a passive stall regu-
lated turbine and the blade pitch is held in its
current position
9. Any loss of power or control causes a fail-safe
shutdown of the turbine using the tip brakes. The
8°
Power-Trim system has no active role during safety
system shutdown
Brake system
Blade tip air brake Hydraulic, fail-safe
Disc brake 1 pcs. hydraulic, fail-safe
Drive train
Gear type Planetary – parallel axle
Ratio 1:67.5 (1:81.0 - 60 Hz)
Main shaft Forged shaft and flange
Main bearing Spherical roller bearing
Cooling Heat exchanger with pump
Bulkhead
Bulkhead
Damper
Nominal frequence 50 Hz (60 Hz - USA)
Name plate rating 950/200 kW
Cooling Liquid-cooled with pump
8°
Yaw system
Type Sliding bearing
Drive mechanism 3 electrical planetary gears
