Low: Minor road maintenance, leveling, traveling with no load – Finish Grading, light snow plowing
Medium: Average road maintenance, scarifying, -road mix work, ditches, loose fill spreading,
medium to heavy snow removal
High: heavy pushing, continuous operation – heavy maintenance of hard packed roads with
embedded rock
Customer Value:
Reduced Operating cost

Cat Grade Control - Cross Slope
Integrated Cat Grade Control - Cross Slope is a factory installed grade control system that helps your
operator to maintain desired cross slope easily by automatically controlling one side of the blade. It is
also very useful as a mobile survey tool. The system is job-ready from day one, and scalable for the
future with AccuGrade™ upgrade kits providing additional 2D and/or 3D control features. Additionally,
the advanced Control Joysticks are available as a retrofit kit and make it even easier to set and use
the system, integrating all the controls in the joysticks
Customer Value:
Increases productivity making it easier for the operator to maintain the desired cross slope. Operator will be able to set a cross
slope to specification 12.5% faster with 35% more precision. Keeping the right cross slope will help with water control on the
road which will reduce Truck's O&O cost by increasing tire life and reducing impact on Trucks body. It is optional for 14M3

Top Adjustment Wear Inserts
A series of shims, patented top-adjust wear
strips and wear inserts are easy to add or
replace. This keeps drawbar-circle moldboard
components factory-tight for higher quality
work, and reduces service time and costs.
Optional Bronze Brass alloy wear inserts
provide better durability and longer life for
mining application
Customer Value:
Reduces Owning and Operating (O&O) cost by lowering service time and cost, wear strips are easy to access and
can be replaced easily outside of the service shop in a very short time. Standard for 14M3
