Aromatic type two-component polyurethane laminating adhesive
Application Field
LX-8321/KW-75 is designed for the lamination of plastic films to other plastic films, to AL-Vacuum metallized film
and AL foil.Principal uses are for flexible packaging materials, such as dry foodstuffs, liquids and aggressive uses
are for AL foil packaging products, such as shampoo.The suitability of these laminates should be evaluated
before commercial production.

(NOTE)
When you use DICDRY LX-8321/KW-75 for aggressive contents (Ex; Softener include scents, Floor
cleaner include pine oil) or severe seal conditions (such as a zipper bag), application to the surface
which absorbs the adhesives constituent like the multicolored printing of ink, or the boilable pouch with
printing ink, we recommend to change a mixing ratio from DICDRY LX-8321 /KW-75 = 18 /2.8 to 18
/3.6 .
Points of concern : when increasing the hardener, the tendency of metalize transfer will increase.
Processing
DICDRY LX-8321/KW-75 can be applied at a solids content of 30-35%.

Application weight
3.0 to 5.0g/m2 dry, depending on substrate and application.
Drying
The solvent has to be removed completely. It may become a cause of an odor when the solvents remain.
Usually, the drying temperatures are in the range of 60 to 100 °C.
Nip Temperature
A nip roller should be warmed up to 60-80 °C.
Curing
Aging is necessary at least 3 days or more at 40 oC.
Pot Life
It is 24 hours when it is kept at less than 25oC with an airtight container.

Shelf Life
DICDRY LX-8321/KW75 can be stored for up to 6 months in the original unopened packaging, when
stored below 30 °C.
