A woman can never be the sole source of your happiness. If she is.....she won't be for long.
You are in love with your own creation of what you think a Relationship is, not what it REALLY is.
In reality, a relationship can never fill that Void.
Only grind, virtue and God can fill that emptiness. With or without a relationship: You need to be on the path
to virtue.
Initially, We, as men need find to solace in hard work, pain and through sharpening our rough edges. Give it
enough time and work, this solace morphs into rapture.
God is waiting for you. God wants you to win. He is rooting for you.
There are millions of impulses going through you every single day.
Every time you give in to a pleasure impulse and make it a physical reality: You become depressed, lustful,
thirsty and depleted. The Pleasure is momentary but the pain persists almost eternally.
Every single time you resist it : You feel God rewarding you and you feel bliss.
The Pain is momentary but the Good persists.
A lot of Long term retainers post here saying: Do not pursue retention solely for attracting mates.
Because what you think you will find in a relationship, you actually find during long SR runs without anyone
else. ALL WITHIN YOU. That 24/7 bliss is too euphoric.
Actively seeking a relationship is like a 9 to 5 job.
You need to work hard, send out a lot of applications. Go door to door and be a salesman. Tell people the
good qualities while hiding the vices of the product. If you don't put yourself out there actively you will NOT
get any sales. But you are desperate for sales. That loneliness perpetuates more lust. That lust perpetuates
more loneliness. It becomes an unending cycle.
Actively seeking to upgrade yourself is like running a business.
Sure, its slower, there is a risk of relapse, quitting and giving up.
Weeding out all the vices, transmuting 100% of the sexual energy you accumulate, is like creating a superior
product that is very rare in the market. You won't need to sell the product going door to door. Your value will
exceed every other product by so big a margin that people will bid on you. Would you rather be a product in
an auction or in the hands of a door to door salesman?

I can assure you something. If you build a good product you will have a lot of bidders. Having a lot of bidders
means you will sell for a high price.
Similarly, Having choice in partners, means you will have very High standards now. You also respect your seed
so you won't stick it everywhere. You will choose very wisely and look right through the "representatives"
buyers send to woo you.
When you have very low supply of women, you will be more inclined to overlook RED Flags, blinded by your
lust.

Retention is Corrupt. It is a double edged sword. Release it and fall into despair with ever increasing hunger to
release more. Retain it and curb the lust, give rise to unparalleled insight.
A poster here said it the best: Never Fed Ever Satisfied, Ever Fed Never Satisfied.
When a woman does not want to be with you, you KNOW its her loss, not yours because your default single
mode is an immensely enjoyable state. You don't fear being alone, You embrace it. You don't yearn for more.
You are emotionally self sufficient. You start working on yourself even more. When you look at yourself in the
mirror with every grasp of that iron bar you fall in love with you. She sees that look in your eye through the
mirror she starts falling for you too. The version of you that is moving mountains one rock at a time.
You actually become and feel like the main character of a movie. You feel the plot armor. The favor of the
universe shifting towards you. When you feel it shifting, you look at the sky and thank them. They look back
and THANK YOU FOR YOUR PERSERVERANCE through coincidences and signs.
Being virtuous is value in itself. Sexual Transmutation furthers virtue. Transmutation is as important as
Retention itself. You cannot sit idle with balls full.
TL;DR: Do not look for relationship, look for competency and self reflection. Competency is Masculinity. Men
chase women, Women chase Value.

Yeah I agree. Women want you when they see the value in you. There’s so many stories where a guy goes
from getting no women to getting loads after attaining some success.
The euphoria thing is very real. Excessive ejaculation robs us of who we are and who we were meant to

I've never done SR for female attraction though I will say that I've not been innocent of thinking about it
either. I think SR is a tool that helps you face your own shadow. Your deep traumas, anxiety, and
everything that keeps you in a negative state while appearing fine. Masturbation just removes your
attention from the real problem that the mind is aimless restless and without any direction. SR stops that
and urges you to do something about it.

Once you began talking about depression, anxiety, being self-conscious after a child falls to sexual
development, that perked my ears. Reason being is because before I discovered masturbation, I would
be full of energy, had an active imagination to make my goals happen, and I would be living in the
moment.
Sexual energy is our life force. Is this what the Garden of Eden is talking about? Where our life force is
our energy and being and once you begin falling to it, all these sins begin devouring our life force?
Also speaking of women.... My first girlfriend out of high school had a lot of Daddy issues, was insecure,
and would emotionally isolate me.
She would be so negative and would always use sex as leverage to manipulate me. Anyways... She would
be insecure in having sex but she would always be down to swallow me. Anytime she would do that, I
would get immediate pleasure, crash really fucking hard, and feel drained after.
That ex-gf would always be full of energy and I'm convinced she just wanted to drain the life force out of
me and maybe subconsciously got something out of it for her soul to feed off.

Wow. Feels like God brought me to this message right when i needed it. Been really in my feels about this
one woman I'm in love with. Prayed to God to not let this one break my heart cuz i honestly don't know iI
would be able to recover. I realized now I was putting all my happiness and self worth in her and putting
being in a relationship on a pedestal. I'm making a promise to focus on myself and my relationship with
God this year and whatever he wants to do with me and her its up to Him and trust that I have to be ok
and be able to get through whatever the outcome is.

I have on occasion said the most hilarious stuff to people. I was so amused by it that I kept a journal
of all my replies which I thought was witty. So I could read it later with objectivity and see if it is
placebo that makes me think the jokes are funny or they are actually funny. Turns out most are

Speaking as a guy with 50+ years of life experience, there is a lot of wisdom in this post. If you're not so
inclined, look past the fluff and religious aspects and focus on action and mindset.
Remember, no matter how low you may be you can rise up. Discipline is a virtue. If you fall or fail, get
back up and continue forward and upward. I have countless times. No one is perfect. This world needs
strong independent men now more than ever.
Physical fitness is a fantastic endeavor to become passionate about. The physical, mental and emotional
are all intrinsically linked. Raise one and the others follow.
People perceive and admire exceptional fitness as self mastery. Because it is. I believe, the closest thing

Yeah, this has been very new to me lately. I feel like pleasure is not as attractive to me any more.
Sometimes I experience it, but I have developed a sense of something much greater than pleasure. And
yeah, highs from pleasure pretty much always lead to some form of lows or anger outbursts when the
pendulum swings back the other way. Having witnessed that enough times in myself, I don't really get
absorbed in pleasure the same way.

That's what's unappealing to me about dating too. A lot of times dating advice will have us act like
someone we are not to present a certain image which we are told is "attractive". Whereas on SR and in
recovery in general, my goal is to come to know and begin to act as my True Self. So I don't want to lose
my authenticity to gain someone else's attraction or attention.

This is so true. Respecting my seed has really been a core thing in my recovery from sex addiction. I see
guys struggle with PM addiction relapses and I think it's because they are not in touch with valuing their
own seed. Whereas for me, valuing my own seed and finding satisfaction in SR really helps me put PM
addiction in the past and move forward.
When you have very low supply of women, you will be more inclined to overlook RED Flags, blinded by
your lust.
Loneliness and emotional needs can also lead to overlooking red flags and these are additional areas we
can address while doing SR and focusing on ourselves. I know for me in my current relationship I
overlooked red flags due to a combination of lust, loneliness and emotional needs as well as how good
the attention and validation felt. But I guess I look at it as living and learning. Mistakes can be seen as
opportunities to learn and grow.

This is the first post that I read in 2025 and its absolutely amazing! I really needed it.
I recently lost my 3 months streak to a one night stand and the thing that sucks the most was that I knew
we didn't have a future together. Just a hot woman that I couldn't resist. This year I ask god for more
power and strength so I can resist these superficial desires.
And the thing that you said about lust begets more lust is so true because the next day after my one
night stand, I texted an ex who is very toxic but again I missed the sex. Thank god she didn't wanna hook
up and I am not calling her again.

I think meditation is a must for everyone.
for me it took around 4 months of dopamine fast + SR. The more cheap dopamine I induced the more
time it took.
I had done a lot of damage to my brain.
I think exercising helped out a lot too.
I would exercise for 3-4 hours a day and 1.5 hours of stairmaster just to transmute everything
because I had unrelenting energy by the end of 4 months.

Great post brother! I’m experimenting with SR the last few months and also tested the waters with a new
Relationship. She was wife material and wanted kids(which I want too) but also had red flags and I could
feel lust and pleasure responses override the red flags.
I do notice a profound shift when I do SR and just focus on myself. This was the post I needed to see to
start 2025 with focus on SR, myself, goals, meditations, fitness and my own journey.

If you are genuinely questioning the validity of my claims here, all the more reason to try it.
Pray or meditate for 30 days before bed. Commit to absolutely zero sins. the 7 deadly sins. No social
media, weed etc. Eat clean, vegan, one meal a day, exercise, cold shower. Hard mode SR with mental
celibacy. No edging.
Prove me wrong. Its hard to do. Road to Heaven feels like hell. Road to hell feels like heaven.
I will believe you if you come after 30 days of earnest effort and tell me God doesn't exist.

Learn to focus. Learn mindfulness. Do some meditation.
Breathe deep and through the nose.
On the inhale, clench your pc muscles. On the exhale, relax them. (Look up "pc muscle
exercises".)
After a while, start directing the energy upwards - focus on your penis, then your abdomen, then
your heart, and so on until you reach the top.
(You can use the chakras for orientation. I find that framework quite helpful, but not absolutely
necessary.)
Practice every day. It doesn't have to be long, consistency matters more than duration.
Be prepared for some intense bliss at some point. If you feel like it's too overwhelming, focus on
exhaling and do mindfulness meditation instead of the muscle stuff.
Also, go for walks, go to the gym, fix your nutrition and sleep schedule. It's all connected.

Having high voltage at a distribution transformer is dangerous. Its too much electricity that is not
being put to use.
So its sent to residential and commercial area to be put to good use through appliances.
Similarly, if you have too much sexual energy through retention but you do not have good habits in
place like Exercising, learning new skills, reading, meditation etc. You might incline towards
destructive habits like smoking weed, video games, chasing skirts instead.
Our curse is: We have to either part with our semen or put it to use if its reabsorbed in our body.
Semen will create A Life or Your life.
One simply cannot sit around and wait with balls full. you'll see for yourself on a long clean SR run.

Google dhamma (dot) org. There is an indian meditation teacher called SN Goenka. He
offers 10 day meditation courses for beginners. Best and the hardest thing I've ever
done in my life.
Its free of cost, they will provide food, shelter and instructions.
All you need to do is stick it out for 10 days. cellphones during the retreat are not
allowed. You will not speak for 10 days.
At the end, If you feel like you gained something of value. Donate a little money. If not
no worries. No one will ask you to.

I was an addict and an alcoholic before I went there.
It changed me. I didn't have a job, no purpose, no friends, introvert, riddled
with bad habits, chronic releaser.
After 10 days, I had a complete personality change. My habits changed. People
from back then don't recognize me. Complete Overhaul. They have semen
retention as one of the 5 precepts to be followed.
Andrew Huberman and western neuroscientists are just rediscovering the link
between meditation and neurology right now.
The East Indians have had it nailed down for millenias. They don't have labels
and names for the parts of the brain but for the most part they know what
works. Meditation does.
The best way i can explain it is:
If someone shot you with an arrow. Most people will not remove the arrow until
they find out who shot it, why they shot it, did it have poison, what part of the
arrow is in my body. While it is still inside your body.
In reality, Anything other than removing that arrow is a distraction. Meditation
is removal of that arrow.
How neuroscientists put it: Meditation increases the volume of 'Anterior
MidCingulate Cortex' which is the seat of will power in the brain. The physical
center of the brain.
AmCC helps in battling cognitive decline due to aging.
it helps with overcoming resistance to do something. (Definition of Masculinity)
It makes effort feel good.
It is dubbed as the tenacious brain.
