Resource Management Plan
Proposed Plan for Worker Accommodation and Transportation
On-Site Accommodation
Plan Details:
• Temporary Housing Units:
o Portable cabins or prefabricated units can be set up on-site. These units can include
sleeping quarters, a kitchen, bathrooms, and a recreational area.
o Capacity can be adjusted based on the number of workers.
• Basic Amenities:
o Beds, lockers, and proper ventilation.
o Sanitary facilities (toilets and showers).
o A canteen or food service area.
• Safety and Compliance:
o Ensure compliance with labor laws and health regulations.
o Fire safety equipment, first aid kits, and proper lighting should be provided.
Advantages:
• Eliminates commuting time, increasing productivity.
• Reduce transportation costs.
• Provides a controlled environment for health and safety.
Challenges:
• Require permits and compliance with local regulations.
• Ongoing costs for maintenance and utilities.
Transportation Arrangement (Bus Service)
Plan Details:
• Bus Service:
o Arrange a large bus or multiple smaller vehicles, depending on the workforce size.
o Schedule daily trips between a central pick-up point (or several points) and the project
site.
• Pick-Up Locations:
o Identify affordable residential areas where workers can reside.
o Ensure the locations are safe and accessible.
• Frequency and Timing:
o Two daily trips: one in the morning and one in the evening.
o Consider shifts and working hours to optimize the schedule.
Advantages:
• More cost-effective if housing is only needed temporarily.
• It provides flexibility for workers to choose their own accommodation.
Challenges:
• Dependence on punctuality and route planning.
• Potential delays due to traffic.
