1. Put four seeds in each house.
Each player controls the six holes on his side of the board
and owns the storehouse to his left.
2. Flip a coin to see who will go first.
3. The first player picks which house he wants to start with
4. He takes all the seeds from one house and starts to place them in the other houses going
clockwise. This is called sowing.(remember not to put any in the other player’s
storehouse)
5. His turn ends if he sows his last seed in an empty house on his opponent’s side.
6. If his last seed falls:
a. in his own house with other seeds in it, he picks them all up and starts sowing
again
b. in his own storehouse, he gets another turn
c. in his own house with no other seeds in it, he takes all the stones from his
opponent’s house opposite the empty one and puts them in his storehouse. His
turn is over.
d. in an empty house on his opponents side. His turn is over.
e. If a player has no seeds on his side of the board when it is his turn, His turn is
over.
7. When one player’s turn is over, the other player starts his turn.
The game ends when no pieces are left in any house on both sides of the board. The players now
count the number of pieces in their own "storehouse" and see who has won.
If his last seed falls If a player has no seeds on his side of the board when it is his
turn, His turn is over. When one player’s turn is over, the other player starts his
