STEERING WHEEL COMMANDS CONNECTIONS
The interface allows to handle the functions by a wireless remote control or directly by the vehicle
steering wheel commands. The compatibility is universal for the canbus or resistive vehicles
listed in the compatibilities table.

CANBUS - GMLAN PROTOCOLS

The connection to the CANBUS vehicles is done putting the product in series to the CANBUS
wires found into the car audio OEM connector. It’s necessary to interrupt the two CANBUS ca-
bles in order to have two cables which go to the radio and two cables which go to the steering
wheel.
The interface has at disposal 6 wires: the user must connect them in this way:
GREEN CAN HIGH IN must be connected to the cable which goes to the steering wheel.
GREEN/YELLOW CAN HIGH OUT must be connected to the cable that goes to the radio.
WHITE CAN LOW IN must be connected to the cable that goes to the steering wheel.
WHITE/YELLOW CAN LOW OUT must be connected to the cable that goes to the radio.
GREY, GMLAN IN, must be connected to the cable that goes to the steering wheel.
GREY / YELLOW, GMLAN OUTPUT, must be connected to the cable that goes to the radio.

If the car hasn’t one of the described buttons please skip the function by pressing 1 time the
reset button, the led will flash 1 time orange and it will become again red.

In a car that has only V-, V+, SEEK-, SEEK+ and MUTE buttons, we need to memorize V-, V+,
NITRO GREEN GREEN-YELLOW
SEEK– and SEEK+, skip the button SOURCE and memorize the MUTE button.

In order to do that, once that the SEEK+ is memorized, press 1 time the reset button and check
that the interface flash 1 time orange. At this point is possible to memorize the MUTE button.
If the MUTE button is the last button available on the steering wheel we need to close the pro-
gramming procedure by a long pressure of the MUTE button until the led switches on of fixed
green.

The connection to the RESISTIVE vehicles is done putting the interface in series to the RESIS- PLEASE REFER TO THE POSITIONS.

It’s necessary to interrupt the two RESISTIVE cables so to have two cables that go to the radio V1
and to cables that go to the steering wheel (in some case there is only one wire to interrupt).
The interface has at disposal 4 cables: the user must connect them in this way:
PINK V1 IN to connect to the cable that goes to the steering wheel.
