Barangay Night Host Script

Introduction
Maayong Gabii, Madyaw na Gabi, Good evening everyone and welcome to
the Barangay Night with Barangay Functionaries and Sectoral Groups! It's a
pleasure to see so many happy and excited faces here tonight. Tonight,
we're celebrating the spirit of our unity and solidarity for the progressive
community, and we're excited to share this special evening with all of you.
As the theme, says “Nagkahiusang mga Handum ug Paglantaw sa Hugot na
Panagtambayayong sa Katawhan sa mas Malinawon, Mahigugmaon, ug
Progresibo nga Barangay Araibo. Ug kana ato na karong natagamtaman.

Karong gabhiuna mapuno kita sa kahimuot ug kalipay nga walay sama. Sit
back, relax and enjoy the Show! Atong sination ang nagkadaiyang hiyas ug
talento sa atong mga barangay officials, barangay functionaries ug ang
atong sectoral groups.

National Anthem and Prayer


At this juncture, I am requesting everyone to, please rise for the singing of
our National Anthem, to be led to us by Ma'am Jocelyn Ferrando. And please
remain standing as Mr. Bienvenido Mamac Sr., leads us in prayer.

Welcome Address
To formally open our program tonight, we are honored to have our IPMR Hon.
Marcellano Cabantao with us tonight to deliver the welcome address. Please
join me in giving him a warm round of applause.

Declaration of Opening of the Araw ng Araibo/Fireworks Display


Without any further ado, We're about to witness a truly spectacular event in
commemorating this special longweek celebration.
As our Punong Barangay Honorable Roberto R. Bustillos in the Declaration to
Officially Open the 34th Araw ng Araibo and 13th Yagatibu Festival.

Opening Number:
Now, let’s turn our attention to something truly special. I’ve been told it’s
going to be absolutely mind-blowing. Or at least, mind-boggling! Please give
a warm welcome to The Barangay Health Workers. Let’s see what they’ve
got! A warm of applause please.

Introduction of Host
And now, to the most exciting part of this night's event, this is a night of
laughter and entertainment, let’s give a warm welcome to our very talented
guest comedian! They've been working hard to bring us some hilarious jokes
and stories, so get ready to laugh your hearts out! Let us all welcome our
Host for tonight, Lady Bol and Lyndon Petmalo.
Please join me in giving them a big round of applause!

[Opening Segment]

Host 1: Maayong Gabii pag-usab and I am thrilled to welcome you to this special occasion—
Gabi ng Pagkilala!

Tonight, we gather to celebrate the remarkable achievements and outstanding contributions of


our Barangay Functionaries and sectoral leaders. It’s a night dedicated to honoring excellence,
perseverance, and the spirit of hard work. We have a wonderful program lined up for you, filled
with inspiring stories and well-deserved tributes.

Now, let’s hear a message from our very own punong Barangay Hon. Roberto R. Bustillos.
Please give a warm round of applause!

[Opening Remarks]

Thank you, Cap for those inspiring words. It’s clear that tonight is a testament to the incredible
talent and hard work within our community. And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for—
let’s begin the awards presentation. Let me read the citation:

To present this award, I am requesting our barangay officials who are with us here tonight to
please assist in our giving of awards. Please come to the stage!

Congratulations to all the awardees! Your dedication and excellence are truly
commendable.

As we wrap up this evening’s celebration, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone
who made this event possible. To our sponsors, organizers, and every single individual who
contributed to making this night memorable—thank you. And of course, to our wonderful guests,
thank you for being here and celebrating with us.
