• Young Indians ( Yi ) was officially launched on December 12th 2002
• Mr. Sanjay Reddy (Vice Chairman of GVK Group) was the 1st National Chair of Young
Indians
• Young Indians was initially known as Young Business Council (YBC)
• How Youth could contribute to their country and shape its future by going beyond
business.
• Yi Bengaluru was one of the founding chapters of Young Indians.

Bharat” which is a multi-faceted theme
encompassing the development, progress, and
holistic growth of India.
• The theme emphasizes entrepreneurship, innovation,
and collaborative efforts towards a stronger and more
prosperous India.

About Yuva
• Under the Yi pillar of Youth Leadership, CII-Young Indians conceived YUVA with
the vision to synergize students and their energy for positive action.
• The CII-Yi Yuva is one of the most active platform focus areas within Young
Indians by which Yi members engage students from across the country in various
initiatives that the students conceptualize, plan and execute

• Responsibility and Accountability
• Becoming the CII Young Indians Yuva Ambassadors
• Work closely with the CII Young Indians Bengaluru Leadership Team
in planning and implementation of Common Minimum Programs
• Participate in Yuva PathFinder
• Monthly EC Leadership Meetings
Expectations from the YUVA EC
• Work closely with other Yuva students from different institutes
during large scale projects and initiatives
• Promote Yuva events, participate in maximum number for city,
regional and national level competitions, seminars and workshops
• Documentation & Reporting of activities
• Calendar for activities scheduling
• Student Performance Matrix & Annual Day Recognitions
Expectations from the YUVA Chairs & Yuva Co Chairs
• Responsibility & Accountability is mandatory
• Conduct Monthly Executive Council Meeting with Yuva Leaders in
your respective colleges
• Documentation and Reporting is mandatory
• Adhere to CII and Young Indians Guidelines at all Times
• Follow Strict Social Media Guidelines - No separate social media
handles
