MB UV STABILIZER
Product Description
MB UV STABILIZER are very effective and efficient UV Stabilizer for plastic
polyolefins. Exposure to sunlight causes adverse effects on the usefullness of
polyolefins product, UV radiation can break down the chemical bonds in polymer.
This process, called photodegradation, will ultimately cause cracking, chalking,
colour changes, and the loss of physical properties such as impact strength, tensile
strength, elongation and other properties.
MB UV STABILIZER uses for polypropylene application such as tape, yaren, woven
bag, garden furniture, bumper, auto-motive paneling. In plastic HDPE application
such as tape, monofilament, rotational moulding, bottle, crate and etc.
Mulch film and green house film. MB UV STABILIZER are easy to handle and
suitable for various fabrication processes such as injection moulding, blown
moulding, blown film and extrusion.
MB UV STABILIZER is low a molucelar weight hindered amine light stabilizer that
provides excellent light stability for thick sections and films in the recommended
substrates.
Benefit of using MB UV STABILIZER is the hight light-stabilizing performance,
particulary in PP thick sections to protect surface. It has broad compatibility and can
be easily dispersed. MB UV STABILIZER can be used for polyolefins (PP, PE,
LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE), also suited for other plastic film applications.
MB UV STABILIZER can be easily processed on standard polyolefins equipment
without further modification.
In addition of MB UV STABILIZER dosage at the range 1 – 3 % allow a blocking
reduction, depends on the application of the end product.
UV stabilizers is a categorized in two general classifications. One class stabilizers
absorbs UV radiation and are called UV Absorbers (UVA). A second class of
stabilizers does not absorb UV radiation, but inhibits or controls degradation by other
means. Chemicals in this second, more diverse class are generally referred to as
light stabilizers.

Packaging, Storage and handling
MB UV STABILIZER is available in 25 kg double layer bags, consist of plastic PE
bag as inner layer and paper bag as outer layer.
Store in a cool and dry place with good ventilation. General handling precautions
apply.
