Branchless Banking Terms and Conditions A Bank Alfalah ‘Account Title Branchtess Banking Terms and Conditions for Consumer Wallet These Terms and Conditions apply to the registration of customers ané subsequent use of the Branchless Banking services (the Service), ‘offered by Bank Afalan Limited. These Terms ard Conditions constitute an agreement between you (the ‘Custamer) and Bark Alfaah Limited wien the Customer registers and makes use of the Service. ‘Branchless Banking’ shall bear the meaning ascribed to that term in the Branchless Banking Regulations 1 Registering for Branchless Banking from Bank Aaah Limited LE tn order to register forthe Service, the Customer mus 111 be a Pakistan national ang over the age of 1B years: 112 have a valid CNIC; 113. have a copy ofthe CNIC at the time of cegstration: 1114 comply with other criteria laid down by the State Bank of Pakistan including those set forth inthe Branchless Banking Regulations LS have to accept these Terms and Conditions governing the use ofthe Service; 11.6 have an active and valid SIM number trom a Mobile Network Operator in Pakistan (he MNO’, 2s advised by Bank Afalah Limited, which has to be registered with Bank Alfalah Limited for avalling the Services (hereinafter referred ta as Registered Mobile Numbe/IM) in order to use faciities which form part of the Services and which involve the use of mobile phones by Customers to undertake transactions. 2 The Custamer must relster for the Service via the Following secure channel: 21 Selected Agents, Super Agents/Master Agents of Bank Alfalah Limited and Franchises Locations of such Selected Agents, Super Agents/Master Agents (hereinafter ccectively referred to as ‘Agent es advised by Bank Alfalah Limited and updated from time to time; OR 22. Any Bank Alfalah Limited Branch, 3. The Bank Alfolah Limite at its sale discretion may accept or reject the request for registration. In case request of the Customer is accepted for availing the Services, the Bank Alfalah Limited will open a Branchless Backing Account of the Customer and may issue an Account Number (Branchless Banking Account Number) and/or a Debit Card to access funds in Branchless Banking Account through mM, 4 The Branchless Banking Account shall function as 2 Curraer Account, 5 No overdraft facility is allowed unless the overdraft limit is approved for the Customer 6 No profit or markup will be paid on furs held in Branchless Banking Account. 7 Atte time of opening of Branchless Banking Accouni, proper identificatiow/KYC ofthe Customer willbe required as per Bank AFaish Limited's policy/procedures and/or instructions oF regulatory authorities. 8 The Branchless Banking Account shall possess a distinctive number, which shall be used in correspondence relating to the Services. 9 Only one Branchless Banking Account wil be opened per CNIC and Registered Mobile Number/SIM. 10 Bank Alfalah Limited, in its sole discretion, shall be constrained to close those Accounts whose average balance during the half year is less than prescribed minimum Balance as advised by Bank Aifaiah Limited from time to time and they show ril balance after deduction Df service and other charges atthe time of half yearly closings, 11 If the Customer notices an errar in the information supplied to Bank Aifalah Limited either inthe registration form or any other communication, he/she shall immediately advise Bank Alfa Limited in writing So as to allow Bank Alfalah Limited to correct the etror wherever possible on a ‘reasonable efforts’ basis. ranchiess Barking W2__Inoorder to use the Service, the Customer must be registered For the Service, 13 The Customer must keep his/her Registered Mobile Number/SIM active in his/her name to avail those facilities forming part of the Services which involve the use of a mobile phone by the Customer to undertake transactions. 14 All instructions for operating the Account and availing Services shall be given by the Customer (Customer Instructions) in the manner prescritved ty Bank Aifalah Limited. The Customer shall be responsible for accuracy, completeness and authenticity of the payment instructions provided to Bank AMfalah Limited and/or its agents/
