III- Specific Objectives: at the end of this lesson, the students are expected to:
a. evaluate existing online creation tools, platforms, ad application in developing ICT con-
tent for specific professional tracks.
b. apply web design principles and elements using online creation tools, platforms, and ap-
plications to communicate a message for a specific purpose in specific professional
tracks.
c. Create an original or derivative ICT content using online creation tools, platforms, and
applications to effectively communicate messages related to specific professional tracks.

Online Platforms and Applications


 The term 'platform'refers to a program cre-
ated by developers that can be modified or
reprogrammed by outside users.
APIs - the Application Programming Interface is a
set of governing protocols or rules on how software
elements should communicate and interact with one
another.
Social Media Pplatforms - for websites developers
and bloggers, plug-in APIs are the most popular be-
cause they are simple and easy to integrate.
Web Design Principles and Elements
To create an effective web sites or web page, the de-
signer of the web site must instill a number of point-
ers. Here are the factors that greatly contribute to this
goal.
1. Purpose - a web site can be categorized pri-
marily in terms of the goal it aims to fulfill.
2. Communication - essentially, when we visit
a web site, the primary objective is to absorb as
much valuable information as possible in the
shortest amount of time.
3. Typeface - This is an essential factor in web
site design because this is considered the most
dominant and noticeable in term of visual.
4. Colors These enhance the experience of
visitors of the web site.
5. Images - Images alone placed on the web
site can deliver a complete message that the web
site wishes to communicate to the audience.
6. Navigation refers to the facility that the au-
dience can use to go through the web site and it's
subpages.
7. Layouts--refers to the physical arrangement
of the content and elements on a web site.
8. Load Tune - another basis for the success of
a web site is the time that the web site will load or ap-
pear onto the viewers desplay devices.
Web Design using Templates, HTML editors, and
WYSTWYG
 WYSTWYG in web site design is an acro-
nym for what you see is what you get. it is an
application that is used to create a web site
either online or offline.
Online Presentation Tools
Some applications that are gaining popularity today
are online presentation tools. These applications offer
the function of an image and presentation software
without the trouble pf purchasing and installing the
presentationsoftware on your device.
✔ Prezi - is a cloud based application dedicated
to help you create a presentation.
✔ Slide-share - this is considered a one of the
earliest forms of online presentation media.
✔ Mind meister - this is an online collaborative
tool in which different individuals can share
ideas on a common scratchpad.

ABSTRACTION ( Formative Task)

Instruction: The students will be given a task to list


the nameof the museum and its exact location on a
short bondpaper. You must be able to find one mu-
seum for every region of the country. The teacher
will evaluate your output based on the accuracy of
the locations, completeness of the list, and ease of
navigating the application.

developed ICT content in relation to the theme, the intended audience, or the viewer

Collaborative Development
✔ Building a web site requires addressing different
aspects covering the product. some of these
aspects include the coming up with the layout,
realizing the design, marketing the web site, and
managing the integration of all of these aspects
in one project.
Here are some of the roles that a Web
development team essentially requires:
✔ Project Manager - is the leader of the group. The
project is synchronized and supervised by the
project manager.
✔ Web Strategist - upon start of development, the
web strategist plans approach or method to be
done.
✔ Content Specialist - Most of the time, the
developers are not inclined in the field of the
web sites topic. therfore the team needs an
indicidual with expertise to write a content of
the web site.
✔ Web designer - the web designer is the one in
charge of the visual presentation of the web site.
✔ Developer - takes into account all of the outputs
of the content specialist and web designer.
✔ Inbound marketer - the success of the web site or
popularity will be the responsibility of the
inbound marketer.

Project Management
The project management is the individual who
carries out the method of project management.
By definition, PM for ICT is the set of skills or
abilities to complete an ICT project and produce
an output.
Web Analytics
Upon creation of a web site, there are factors that the
designer would want to study to fully evaluate its
effectiveness. Web analytics is the process of
collecting data or measuring the activity of the
website.
Platforms for Collaboration
✔ Google Apps for Work
This is a compilation of productivity tools
developed by google. this platform is online and
sloe contains a word processor, a spreadsheet,
and a presentation program.
● Google Docs is the word processing
platform.
● Google sheets is the spreadsheet platfrom.
● Google Slides is the presentation platform.

ABSTRACTION ( Formative Task)

Instruction: the student will Required to watch their
favorite sports. They have to create a report that
shows the name of the players and their
corresponding number of points, fouls, and other
technical issues for the first game. The report must be
generated using GOOGLE SHEETS and must be
sent to their GOOGLE MAIL ACCOUNT.
