•J.K. Rowling(Joanne Kathleen Rowling) was born
on 31 July 1965 in Yate, Gloucestershire, England.
***Educational Life:
Primary School:He was educated at St. Michael's
Primary School, Winterbourne.
- Secondary School: He completed his secondary
education at Wyedean School and College.
- Higher Education: He studied at the University of
Exeter in the department of French and Classics and
graduated in 1986. While at university, she worked
and studied in Paris for a year.
~Her Career:
Rowling has been a great inspiration through both
academic and personal experiences throughout her
educational life. Especially while working at Amnesty
International during his university years, he became the
inspiration for the Harry Potter series.While working at
Amnesty International during his university years, he
started writing the Harry Potter series.She moved to
Portugal in 1992. She gave birth to her first child while
teaching English.Then She got divorced. He returned to
Edinburgh and continued to write while receiving public
assistance for several years. in 1997, the first Harry
Potter book "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone"
was published and achieved great success.
•Works:
Rowling has written an adult novel called "The
Casual Vacancy" and a mystery series called
"Cormoran Strike" after the Harry Potter series.
This mystery series, written under the name Robert
Galbraith, is also very popular, and he has also
written the books "What Are Fantastic Beasts" and
"Quiditch for Ages", which are connected to the
Harry Potter universe.
Charities and Campaigns:
Rowling supported different charities in her life.
She started a child rights organization called Lumos
and took part in many charity activities.

Rowling has received the Costa Book
Awards, the Légion D'honneur, the
Hans Christian Andersen Award and
the Compagnon D'honneur
