Subject: Request to Retain My Voter ID Credential
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am writing to address the notice (Dispatch No. 8684, Reference ID:
U05054G7SZ911241200147) received regarding the proposed deletion of my name from the
electoral roll under Section 22 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950.
Firstly, I would like to clarify that I have been a genuine applicant in the process of registering as
a voter for the Okhla Assembly Constituency. Initially, I began the registration process and
created credentials for my voter ID. However, I could not complete the process at that time.
When I attempted to resume later, I found that the online portal had undergone changes, and I
was unable to log in using my previous credentials. Consequently, I started the registration
process afresh and successfully completed it this time, as reflected in the new details
mentioned in your notice (EPIC No: NWD5790993).
I believe the earlier incomplete registration attempt may have resulted in a duplicate entry in
the system. I assure you that my intention has always been to maintain a single, accurate voter
record. Hence, I respectfully request the following:
1. Retain my new voter ID credentials (EPIC No: NWD5790993), which were successfully
registered and are valid.
2. Delete the older, incomplete, or duplicate entry, which may exist due to my previous
attempt to register.
I kindly urge you not to delete my valid, updated credentials mentioned in the notice. I am
willing to provide any additional documents or clarifications required to resolve this issue.
Please let me know if further action is needed from my side.
