Dear Members of the Scholarship Committee,

My name is Melvin Kallon, ICT Teacher at Maretha International Preparatory High School. I am
writing to highly recommend Jimmy J. Eid for a scholarship at the University of North Texas.
Having known Jimmy for several years, both academically and personally, I can confidently say
he is an outstanding candidate for your scholarship program.

Jimmy is an exceptionally bright and motivated student who demonstrates a strong commitment
to his education and personal growth. As his teacher, I have observed his ability to grasp
complex concepts quickly and his relentless drive to excel. His academic achievements in ICT,
Economic History, and Math are a testament to his dedication and hard work.

Beyond academics, Jimmy is passionate about making a positive impact in his community. He
has mentored and trained young people through non-profit organizations and has shown
exemplary leadership as the president of the Maretha UNESCO Club, where he led initiatives
promoting education and cultural exchange. Additionally, he is an active member of the OAB
(Pen Border Alliances of Africa), showcasing his skills in public speaking and leadership.

Jimmy's determination to overcome challenges is truly inspiring. Growing up in Liberia with a


single mother, he has faced numerous financial and personal hardships. Despite these obstacles,
he has consistently excelled in his studies, earning scholarships throughout middle and high
school.

Jimmy's life goals are ambitious and commendable. He aspires to become the next president of
Liberia, a top tech lawyer, and to work in industries contributing to a peaceful world. His vision
includes building the next generation with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.

I firmly believe that Jimmy J. Eid potential is boundless, and a scholarship from the University
of North Texas would provide him with the opportunity to further his education and make a
significant impact in the world. I wholeheartedly recommend him for your scholarship program
