You’ve got opportunities
What you’ll do:
As an Intern you will be working with senior professionals at BT (could be a 24x7 environment) and
some of your day-to-day activities includes:
• Perform audits documentation and related compliance activities
• Automate customer standard reports and present the findings to seniors
• Assist in analyzing Incidents, capacity management, configuration management, problem
management reporting etc.
•Support on vendor/stakeholder follow-ups and catch & dispatch activities
• Assist in incident triage, quality checks, PIR reports, supplier engagement, closure etc.
• Gain knowledge of BAU and assist in Organizing data, governance, administration, and related
reporting
• Assist in documenting the process maps / re-engineering processes and simple service request re-
engineering
• Assist in setting up of test lab infrastructure basis the customer requirements
• Maintain the technical reference library for customers
• Execute daily ad-hoc tasks or work on small projects as needed
Skills Required:
• Quick learner with problem solving attitude
• Strong research and writing skills
• Understanding the management and architecture of operating systems, networking, and
visualization software
• Basic understanding of Servers, Virtualization, Cloud, Platform, and IT services.
• Basic understanding about Networking (LAN/WAN/Voice) technologies and products Routers and
Switches
• Basic understanding of network security products and services
• Strong familiarity of working on MS excel, Macros, MS Word, PowerPoint
• Knowledge in scripting languages like C++, Java, Visual Basic, Python etc.
• Any certifications in Network/Security (Entry/Associate level) will be an added advantage
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills
• Ability to liaise with Internal and External customers and suppliers at any level
• Good customer interfacing skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight timescales
