How is this data collected? Data is exported approximately every 10 minutes from ECC
systems by automated script. ECC makes every reasonable
effort to ensure that information is current and accurate at
the time it is entered.
What does each record represent? An active major incident call for service
What are the limitations of the data? An active major incident includes the following
classifications: stabbing, shooting, hold up/robbery,
fight/assault, deceased person, residential burglary,
business burglary, shots fired, prisoner escape, drowning,
bank robbery, aircraft crash, personnel in danger,
riot/disorderly crowd, train derailment, explosion. This data
reflects active dispatched calls for service, which may be
determined to be false or unfounded.

Location Info Text Additional location information for the call, if applicable
City Text City, precinct, or neighborhood where the call occurred
