(e) Couplings. All the Couplings will be Gear Type and are made out of EN-9
forging and are heat treated.
(f) Rope. 6 x 36 Const. Make- ‘Usha Martin’.
(a) Main Hoist Rope 22 mm (8 falls).
(b) Aux. Hoist Rope 12 mm. (4 falls).
(g) Bridge / Beam. The bridge will be box girder type fabricated out of tested
MS plates as per IS: 2062. It will have platform for easy maintenance in full length on
one side and two small maintenance platforms on other side.
(h) End Carriage. Also box type/ ISMC.
(j) Wheels Assembly. ‘L’ Type bearing arrangements for easy maintenance
with heavy duty double spherical roller bearings.
(k) Wheels. Made out of EN-9 forging and heat treated.
(l) Control. All the accessories of control panel and switch gear will be of
L & T / Siemens/ ABB/ BCH/ Tele mechanique make etc. and control with 110 volts
through pendent contr.
(m) Cross Conductors. The cross conductors supply will be festoon type
trailing cable arrangements with ISI marked and tested at 1100 Volts cables.
(n) Limit Switches. Crane duty limit switches will be provided . (Make: Speed
– N- System/ Crane- N- Control).
(o) Emergency Stop. Switch will be provided for extra safety.
(p) Hook. C- type plain shank hook, 360 degree swiveling type make
Hercules.
(q) Paints. The following colour scheme shall be adopted for painting of
machinery:-
(i) Under Coat. Double coat zinc chromate.
(ii) Golden Yellow. Double Coat (Make- Nerolac/ Berger/ Asian/ ICI or
any ISI / ISO).
