Software Development Engineer I
About the role
The Software Development Engineer's core responsibilities include working on highly-maintainable and
unit tested software components/systems that address real-world problems. You will be working in a
fast-paced and agile work environment delivering quality solutions that have immediate business impact.
The Software Engineer's core responsibilities will be to develop object-oriented models and design data
structures for new software projects and implement business logic and data models with suitable class
design. You will work on collaborating with peers on all elements of the development process. It requires
you to follow industry coding standards and create appropriate technical documentation.
What you’ll do:
You will assume complete ownership of the projects you deliver while collaborating with technical and
non-technical stakeholders on all elements of the development process. You are expected to
demonstrate good learnability and adopt technologies that help build large scale, performant, reliable
and sustainable systems.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following:
● 2024 engineering graduates with 4 - 11 months of work experience
● Coding / PS / DS / Algo
● Strong problem solving skills
● Ability to work with abstractions and comprehend fuzzy problem
statements
● Should have the penchant for solving complex and interesting problems.
● Strong foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in Data Structures
and Algorithms
● Ability to apply knowledge of DS and Algorithms in solving real world problems. Design
data structures and craft algorithms to solve complex business problems.
● Excellent coding skills. Strong command over at least one general programming language (Java /
C / C++ / Ruby / Clojure / Scala etc)
● Application of programming language constructs in building highly complex and scalable
business applications
Compensation:
FTE: 26,57,000 Cost To Company [Breakup: 18 Lac Base Pay + 1.8 Lac Variable Pay+ 5.07 lac ESOPs
(Vested over 4 yrs - 25% per year) + 1.69 lac Benefits including relocation allowance].
