BUSNIESS IDEA: FREELANCING AND ONELINE INITIATIVES – (VIRTUAL
ASSITANT/GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES, CUSTOMER SERVICE/E-
COMMERCE, DIGITAL MARKETING, EMAIL MARKETING, DATA ENTRY,
CONTENT WRITING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT)
SUMMARY:
Taderi Tolulope Robbert, is a Theology student at African International University, year one
second semester. I have experience in administration, virtual assistant, customer service and now
transitioning into the digital space upon equipping myself with necessary skills.
The fate of future work has been determined by technological evolution. The physical office
workspace is becoming a mirage as the day advances, and 85% of the workspace has now been
shifted to the internet. The COVID-19 experience makes it faster than expected. This
technological evolution has made opportunities abound in the internet space with certain digital
and technological skills coupled with soft skills to work from home or tentatively become your
own boss. Over the years, I have been able to equip myself with the above-outlined digital and
basic tech skills blended with soft skills for workability, especially online.
EQUIPMENT NEEDED: LAPTOP (DELL OR HP – core!5 16GB, 64bit)
To be able to participate actively and convert these skills into a monitory value, I need a laptop
gadget, as there are organizations ready to offer opportunities as long as one has the required
skill sets. Having this gadget will also increase my productivity in these skills, and while it
improves my financial stability, I will also be able to impart the knowledge to others who are
looking up to this kind of path.
BUDGET:
Twenty-five to thirty thousand Kenya Shilling (25,000.00 kesh – 30,000.00 kesh)
PROJECTION:
Within three to six months, I will be able to engage in work that can begin to fetch me up to 600
to 1000 dollars monthly.
