ratio of their ages will be 3:4. Find their present ages.
23.A positive number is 5 times another number. If 21 is added to both the
numbers, then one of the new numbers becomes twice the other new
number. What are the numbers?
24.Simplify 3x (4x – 5) + 3 and find its values for (i) x = 3 (ii) x = 5
25.The adjacent figure HOPE is a parallelogram. Find the angle measures x,
y and z. State the properties you use to find them.

cylinders.

34.Factorise the following expressions:

35.The students of Class VIII of a school donated Rs 2401 in all, for Prime
Minister’s National Relief Fund. Each student donated as many rupees as
the number of students in the class. Find the number of students in the
class.
