“THE INVISIBLE CAGES OF LIBERTY:
Unmasking Modern Unfreedoms”
DEADLINE: 29TH JANUARY, 2025CONCEPT NOTE
Freedom, while celebrated as the cornerstone of modern
societies, often remains a fragmented reality. Beneath the
surface of political independence and constitutional rights
lies a complex web of invisible constraints that undermine
true liberation. "The Invisible Cages of Liberty— Unmasking
Modern Unfreedoms" seeks to unravel this paradox,
challenging the perception of freedom as absolute and
examining the forces that perpetuate unfreedom in a
supposedly liberated world.
Gandhi envisioned freedom not just as_ political
independence but as a holistic process of self-realization
and liberation from material, social, and_ spiritual
constraints. His emphasis on self-reliance, truth, and
collective responsibility resonates deeply in our quest to
identify and dismantle these unseen barriers.
This theme calls for a deeper interrogation of what it truly
means to be free and urges us to envision a world where
liberation transcends illusion and becomes a lived reality.AAMT Ale
