Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) successfully organized two All Punjab Universities Innovation Expos in 2022 and 2023 wherein projects and start-
ups of students and faculty members from universities across Punjab were exhibited. The objective of the expos was to offer tech-enthusiasts and
entrepreneurial brains, amongst the teachers and students, a platform to exhibit their creative research and innovative work before the industry experts,
business persons, investors and general public. We are glad to inform you that many of the businesspersons and industrialists showed keen interest in the
projects displayed in the All Punjab Universities Expos and some of them also got commercialization opportunity.
PHEC intends to scale-up the initiative this year and has set a target to increase the number of projects to minimum 500 projects/startups which will be
displayed/exhibited during the Expo 2025. Moreover, it is also decided that the prize money of the winner startups/projects will be increased as compared to
the previous year.
In this backdrop, Punjab Higher Education Commission has planned to organize “All Punjab Universities Innovation Expo 2025” tentatively in the mid of
2nd/3rd week of February 2025. I am, therefore, directed to request you to kindly share details of the projects/start-ups, from your institution for participation
in the “All Punjab Universities Innovation Expo 2025”, on the attached prescribed proforma, latest by January 20, 2025. It is further requested to nominate
focal person of the university/institution for further communication/coordination with PHEC in this regard.
Looking forward to welcome startups/projects from your university in the Expo 2025.
