Admission Score Formula and Admissions Scores for 2025 JUPAS

The following admissions scores are calculated based on the 2025 programme-specific main admission score formula and the HKDSE
results of the JUPAS applicants with Main Round offers in 2024 entry#.

All admissions scores presented is based on the following new score conversion with effect from 2025 entry:

• Category A Core and Elective subjects: 5** = 8.5 ; 5* = 7 ; 5 = 5.5 ; 4 = 4 ; 3 = 3 ; 2 = 2 ; 1 = 1

New score conversion for Category C Other Language subjects for 2025 entry:

• Japanese: N1 = 7 ; N2 = 5.5 ; N3 = 4
• Korean: Grade 6 = 7 ; Grade 5 = 5.5 ; Grade 4 = 4 ; Grade 3 = 3
• French/German/Spanish: C2 = 7 ; C1 = 5.5 ; B2 = 4 ; B1 = 3 ; A2 = 3

Students are reminded that score weightings and calculations may vary each year. As different weightings are used, admissions scores
are not comparable across programmes or admission years. The admissions scores below are for reference only and should not be used
to predict the likelihood of admission in 2025 JUPAS. Besides the main admissions score, other types of scores are considered in the
selection process including but not limited to subject results, band choices, interview performance.

JUPAS applicants may also make use of the CityUHK JUPAS Score Calculator to calculate their admission score for programmes
concerned.
