ORDER:
In the G.O. first read above, Government have issued orders notifying the
holidays under Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 for the year 2025.
2. In the reference 2nd and 3rd read above, the Convener, United Forum of
Bank Unions, Andhra Pradesh State Unit and the General Manager & Convener,
State Level Bankers Committee, Andhra Pradesh, have requested to declare
holiday on 15.01.2025 on the occasion of “KANUMA” under the Negotiable
Instruments Act, 1881.
3. Government, after careful consideration of the matter, have decided to
declare holiday on 15.01.2025 (WEDNESDAY) on the occasion of “KANUMA”
under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881. Accordingly, the following
notification is issued and shall be published in the Extraordinary issue of Andhra
Pradesh, dated: 13-01-2025.
NOTIFICATION
In partial modification of the orders issued in G.O.Rt.No.2116, General
Administration (Political.B) Department, dated:06.12.2024, Government hereby
declare 15.01.2025 (WEDNESDAY) as holiday on the occasion of “KANUMA” under
the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881.
