8. Find the mass and the center of mass of the lamina occupying the region R and having

(b) R is the region bounded by the parabola y = 4 − x2 and the x-axis; and ρ(x, y) = y.

9. Find the moments of inertia Ix , Iy , and Io .

(a) R is the triangular region with vertices (0, 0), (2, 1) and (4, 0); ρ(x, y) = x.
(b) R is the region in the first quadrant bounded by the circle x2 + y 2 = 1; ρ(x, y) = x + y.
