Ink Tanks
Use of needle
A new method is adopted where the needle of the print head is inserted into an ink tank.
Ink tank replaceable only when the ink level is low or when ink is used up
An ink tank can be replaced only when the ink level is low or ink runs out, so as to prevent ink leakage
from the ink supply hole of the ink tank. Only the applicable ink tank will come to the ink tank replacement
Print Head
One-inch black chip
The one-inch black chip is adopted for high print speed.
Ink System
The printer pump controls the diaphragm inside the print head. By doing so, ink is securely supplied,

Ink Tanks
Handling of a used ink tank
In a used ink tank that is removed from the printer at the message that ink is used up, a slight amount of ink
Before removing an empty ink tank from the printer, be sure to prepare a new ink tank.
If an ink tank where ink is running low or ink is used up is removed from the printer and then re-installed,
one.
When an ink tank is removed from the printer, the air from the outside will leak into the ink tank and the
in the printer, improper color mixture of ink or ink leakage may occur.
Print Head
Replacement of the print head
When the print head is replaced in repair servicing, be sure to install the new ink tanks in the print head
when returning the repaired printer to the user.
< Reasons >
To replace the print head, the ink tanks originally installed (the user’s ones) need to be removed from
the print head. Since once-removed ink tanks are not re-usable, the new ink tanks must be installed in
the replaced print head.

Ink Absorber
Replacement of the Ink Absorber
When the Ink Absorber is replaced in repair servicing, be sure to replace all the following items at the same
- Absorber Kit
- Drain Tower Unit
- Blade Cleaner Unit
< Reasons >
When the Ink Absorber is replaced, the ink absorber counter must be reset.
Carriage Unit
Replacement of the Carriage Unit
When the Carriage Unit is replaced in repair servicing, be sure to replace the Carriage Pulley Holder at the
Holder needs to be adjusted accordingly. To secure the belt tension, the Carriage Pulley Holder must be
adjusted accordingly. To secure the belt tension, the Paper Feed Belt Unit must be replaced at the same

before replacement and restore it to the replaced new one using the BR Tool.
