aspetong personal at sosyal, akademiko, at panglipunan.

MODULE #CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

13 I CAN DO IT!

Introduction
Time Allotment:5 minutes

Most of the time your capacity as a young learner is

sometimes not taken seriously by others. But little did they
know that you are important and you are able to
contribute to the improvement of your school and the
community in your own simple way.

Let’s Try This

Cause and Effect
Time Allotment: 30 minutes

Directions:
1. Copy the table on a sheet of paper.
2. Complete the second column by writing the effect of
the given situations.
3. Choose your answers inside the box

dirty surroundings always absent in school

flood getting sick with Corona
virus
4
Cause Effect
Cutting of trees in the
forest
Bullying
Throwing of garbage
anywhere
Not following health
rules

Processing Questions:

1. How did you find the activity?

2. How do you feel while writing down the effects of the
given situations?
3. Choose one situation and share what you can do to
avoid it.

Let’s Explore This

Time Allotment: 30 minutes

Direction:
Answer briefly the following questions on your paper.

1. What kind of programs/activities in school/community

that would you like to join at?

5
2. What do you think are the values needed in order for
you to join that said program or activity?

Processing Questions:
Directions: Get a piece of paper and answer the following
questions.

1. How do you feel after sharing the program/activity in

mind that you want to join at?
2. Why do you think a young learner like you should be
involved in any school activity/program?
3. Do you have an activity in mind that you wanted to
do but was not mentioned?

Keep in Mind
Time Allotment: 10 minutes

Many of you, young learners do not know that there

are different programs/activities in school and community
that you can join at. Knowing the availability of these
activities around you is a good start for you to explore and
apply all the skills that you have learned in the classroom.

In school it’s not enough to know how to read, write,

and count numbers. There are lots of things to learn outside
the four walls of the classroom.

6
How aware are you with the thing that’s happening
around you? Have you helped a bullied student? Did you
pick up the scattered trash along your way? Previously,
what did you do to help beautify your school? If you think
these are difficult for you, think again! You can make a
difference in yourself and in the lives of other people by
doing your part not only as learner in your school but as a
good member of a bigger community.

You Can Do It

Time Allotment: 75 minutes

Directions: With the help of your parents/guardians, plan

and organize the following activities:

Activity 1. Usually, pupils also participate in tree-planting

activities in the campus and in the community. Since you
do not personally come to school, this activity can be
experienced at home. Look for seedlings or prepare
seedlings that you can plant at home, with the help of your
parent/guardian. Look for an area where you can plant
your seedlings.

Activity 2. Create anti-bullying campaign materials (create

posters that can be displayed in the campus or in the social

7
media) and do a short anti-bullying statement. If you have
access to internet at home, you may ask your
parent/guardian to share your output on social media and
use hashtag (for example, #TeamMakatao).

What I Have Learned

Time Allotment: 20 minutes

Direction:
Answer the following questions on your paper.

1. What part of the activity do you find interesting?

2. What have you realized after joining in the activity?
3. If you posted your poster on social media, how do you
feel about your hashtag? Did it create an impact on
social media?

Share Your Thoughts

and Feelings
Time Allotment: 15 minutes

Direction:
In a piece of paper write your realizations after
implementing the programs/activities.
