EXERCISE: Creation of a Social Enterprise

aspirations; others were the result of one's passion; yet others were the result of a need.
Ideas do, in fact, arrive in a variety of shapes, sizes, locations, and times.

In the previous WIKI, it was highlighted that there should be a stage when people
must come up with ideas that can be developed into possibilities. This is significant since not
every concept may lead to a profitable opportunity. Each concept that is generated for a
social business must be assessed to see whether it has a chance of bringing about positive
social change, whether a market exists for it, and whether it will be sustainable and workable
in the long run.

Create case study paper and presentation as a pitch for the business segment of a magazine
show.

Make sure that all areas are covered in your comprehensive paper. Your team will no longer
have an oral presentation but the visual aid (PPT) will act as a pitch for the segment of the
magazine show and be a presentation in itself.

CHECKPOINT

Let’s see how you apply what you learned from the WIKI. Accomplish the Checkpoint
