EXECUTIVE ORDER RE-ORGANIZING THE BARANGAY PEACE KEEPING


ACTION TEAM (BPAT) OF BARANGAY PANOPDOPAN, LAMUT, IFUGAO.

WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority of the National Peace and Order Council and the
Philippine National Police, the Barangay Peace Keeping Action Team (BPAT) is hereby
created as the primary operators to conduct community-oriented Policing and Public Safety
System.

WHEREAS Pursuant to Local Government Code of 1991, it is the primary functions of the
barangay to create and initiate programs,projects and activities for the promotion and
preservation of peace and order and public safety in order to protect the life and properties of
the people.

WHEREAS the mission of the Barangay Panopdopan BPAT is to conduct peace keeping
activities in association with the various sectors of the community and ensure continuous
support towards the maintenance of peace and order safety.

NOW THEREFORE, I, REXTER G. GUINAOB, Punong Barangay of Panopdopan,


Lamut, Ifugao, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law do hereby re-organize the
Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) as follows:

SECTION 1. COMPOSITION. The Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team is hereby


re-organize to be constituted as follows:

Members: GEDEON D. MACABUGAO Chairman, Peace and Order
INOCENCIA B. LOBHOY Chairman, Social Services
KERAJIE RYNE D. BIMMULOG SK Chairman

JIMMY WIGAN
MICHAEL BAGUISTA
JONALYN DINAMAN

SECTION 2. FUNCTIONS. The Barangay Peace Keeping Action Team (BPAT)
shall exercise the following functions:
1. Organize and mobilize various sectors of the community in support of the
maintenance of peace and order safety.
2. Conduct crisis management, disaster mitigation, search, and relief
operations within the community.
3. Strengthen and support the barangay justice system ( Lupong
Tagapamayapa) and
4. Conduct crime prevention and deterrence measures to protect the vulnerable
sectors of the community.

SECTION 3. FUNDING SUPPORT. Funding support for the BPAT shall be


charged against the fund of the barangay government subject to availability of funds and to
the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

SECTION 4. EFFECTIVITY. This order shall take effects immediately upon the
approval.
