How Technology Helps Aid the Delivery of Education
What is the importance of Technology in education delivery? For me it is one of the most
essential part of daily lives. Due to these inventions many people makes the learner more
effective and faster.
The world has entered the era of globalization starting competition to create and implement
new technologies in developed countries. Therefore, for developing countries, the most
appropriate technology mastery policy is building absorption capability through technological
transformation efforts in the sense of learning, adjusting, and possibly, improving available
technology which aims to gain competitive advantage. One of the most effective ways of
mastering this technology is through introducing technology in the world of education.
Education is the process of human formation through the guidance and instructions that are right
throughout their lives and covers in all fields with the real essence of education including
physical and spiritual education. Education is an absolute requirement for going towards a just,
prosperous and prosperous society. The examples of simple technologies used are blackboards,
real objects, charts and other simple models. The examples of educational technologies that
include medium technology are slides, OHP, projection films (LCD). The examples of
educational technology which are fairly high are computer assisted instruction, complex teaching
simulation, dial access information systems by telephone and distance learning using radio,
television, modules, computer assisted instruction and so on. Google Classroom is an integral
part of Google Apps for Education (GAFE), a suite of productivity tools designed for teachers
and students to enhance learning and online collaboration. While GAFE includes popular
applications like Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, accessible to anyone, Google
Classroom is exclusive to GAFE. It serves as a central hub for educators to communicate with
students, provide feedback, and assign homework. Google Classroom's key strengths lie in its
time-saving and organizational features, making it easy to use and navigate. It functions as a
virtual extension of traditional classrooms, offering a structured environment for online learning.
The process begins with creating classes and adding students, followed by exploring features like
sending information, initiating discussions, and distributing and collecting assignments. Google
Classroom is a Learning Management System (LMS) provided by Google for educators. It offers
a centralized platform for communication, question-asking, and assignment creation. In today's
increasingly digital landscape, Google Classroom facilitates online learning for digital learners.
Its unique interface allows teachers to personalize their classrooms, akin to a blank canvas,
enabling them to organize learning environments according to their teaching methods. Before
adding students, teachers need to create an online class for physical classes. However, Google
Classroom can also be used independently of physical classes, for instance, in distance learning
or large school events. Teachers have access to a comprehensive set of tools and features,
including student management, announcements, assignments, and material uploads, providing
them with control and flexibility in their virtual classrooms. Because of some applications that
can let the other people always be connected to each other. Most of the time the people around us
always gathering some datas from the internet without knowing if it is true or not. There are
advantages and disadvantages of technology in delivering education and one of it was it can
minimize the workloads of every learner and facilitators of every learning. It can also give many
benefits in preparing the instructional materials in most effective ways because it can develop the
higher thinking skills of every learner. The learner also can explore most of their learning due to
many websites that can feed them many ideas and discoveries. For Learners
using technology, in learning experiences may be customized to meet the needs and learning
preferences of each individual. Personalized learning routes, and interactive simulations.
Students can access learning resources and take part in online courses from any location at any
time thanks to technology, which eliminates time and location constraints. Students with hectic
schedules or those with disabilities can especially benefit from this. Students can work together
more easily thanks to online platforms, which promote peer learning, communication, and
teamwork. Students can collaborate on projects, exchange ideas, and gain insight from one
another. There were also some drawbacks to this issue, like the following: It is simpler to cheat o
n tests, which is a major issue for teachers, and they are unable to gauge how well their students
have understood a lesson. This is also the main issue with online exams since instructors frequent
ly aren't aware of if students are using another device throughout the test.Because educational ins
titutions are unable to ensure that students have the knowledge required for higher education or t
o perform their duties, this issue may have long-term effects. Modern technology maintenance is
exceedingly costly, and the expense of updating or maintaining technology is frequently
disregarded. Relying on the idea that technology is the only answer in education seems
overconfident in a world where new developments in the field of digital technologies are made
virtually every month and where updating software and programs constantly necessitates more
powerful machines. Namely, teaching and learning can be done without technology, but the
question is – how useful the acquired specific skills will be after a few generations of
technological backwardness. So, in order to not regret the purchase of new technology,
educational institutions are obligated to estimate the actual long-term costs of that investment,
and how it will reflect on tuition fees that students and their parents need to pay. Reduces direct
peer interaction although digital technologies have been shown to improve student advancement,
and project collaboration, they, however, disregard our biological need for interaction in real
time.
One of the greatest inventions that can increase productivity for everyone in a variety of
ways is the use of technology. However, learners also experienced consequences since they were
very reliant on searching for ideas instantly, which could cause them to become lazy in
understanding some of their outputs. Additionally, it can assist society in being globally prepared
to use technology in a variety of ways.
