Printing Instructions

PRINTING INSTRUCTIONS: To print double-sided pattern talk cards,


select the “Double Sided” setting in your pint menu and print pages
2-11. For single-sided printing, select “Print on One side”; under
“Pages”, select “custom”, and then select “even pages only”, then
print pages 2-10.
CARD LABELS: This talk comes with equation card labels that you
can print, cut out, fill in, and pin next to the corresponding cards
each day. These labels are on pages 12-13.

Materials
● Cards printed and cut out. You might consider pinning them up face-down ahead of
time.
● Optional anchor chart to record student strategies
● Optional manipulatives: counters, unifix cubes, Hundreds Chart, base ten blocks

Explore One Card a Day with These Three Steps…


1. Predict: “What does today’s card say?
