System Preparation:

■ Installing .NET Framework 3.x

Tap the Windows icon and type Control – then Open the Control Panel

Tap Programs

Tap Turn Windows Feature on/off

Enable .NET Framework 3.5

Hit Next until it asks to download from Windows update & Accept

Reboot if prompted

■ Installing Japanese Language Packs

Tap the Windows icon and type Control – then Open the Control Panel

Tap Add Language under Clock, Language, and Region

Tap Add Language

■ Prepping the game

Download a fresh copy of the game from DLSite “At the time of writing v2.23 is the latest”

http://www.dlsite.com/ecchi-eng/work/=/product_id/RE201109.html

With all 4 files “Roughly 2.4GB in size” downloaded, extract the game to a temporary folder

Navigate into the temporary folder & deeper into the もんむす・くえすと!RPG中章 folder

Delete or archive 前章引き継ぎおよびコンバート.txt and 解説書v2.11.txt

Move all files/folders other than the above 2 into an English named folder
Note: Make sure there aren’t any folders with Non-English characters in folders above it.

If you own part 1 “1.21 is the latest patch” navigate to the Graphics folder in your part 1 game folder and
copy the Pictures folder into the Graphics folder in the Part 2 folder – Allow it to overwrite. This will
enable the Part 1 Hentai Scenes in the Part 2 gameplay.

If you own part 1 “1.21 is the latest patch” navigate to the game folder and copy your Save folder into
the game folder of Part 2

■ Prepping the Translation patch

Download and install 7zip

http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Download RpgMakerVXAceTranslator0.10c and extract it to the same Hard Drive as the extracted part 2
game files from above

Note: Do NOT put it in the same folder as the extracted game files

https://bitbucket.org/dargothtranslations/mgq-paradox-2/downloads/?tab=downloads

Download a zip file of the master branch of the translation – Start here for “Return to scripts”

https://bitbucket.org/dargothtranslations/mgq-paradox-2/downloads/?tab=branches

Right click on the zip file and under 7zip hit extract to <folder name>

Note: the folder name will be identical to the name of the file minus the .zip

Navigate into the folder, then go into scripts and verify they contain Japanese characters instead of
empty boxes or else the translation will fail.

For Example, you should have Script_00000001_▼ モジュール.txt as the second file in the folder

■ Running the game translation process

Navigate into the RpgMakerVXAce Translator 0.10c folder from above

Right click on Ytinasni.RpgMaker.GameSelector.exe and “Run as Administrator”

Copy & Paste the raw game file location into the box that comes up

For Example: E:\Games\MGPP2

Note: This step may take some time depending on your system specs.

When the program finishes up, navigate into the dargothtranslations-mgq-paradox-2-XXXXXXXXXXX

folder and copy everything into the Script folder in the RpgMakerVXAce Translator 0.10c folder.
Right Click on Ytinasni.RpgMaker.Translator.exe in the base folder of RpgMakerVXAce Translator 0.10c
and “Run as Administrator”

Note: This step may take some time depending on your system specs.

Navigate into the “out” folder and move all files to their permanent location

For Example: E:\Games\MGPP2 v2.23 Translated

Create a shortcut for game.exe to your desktop & Enjoy

■ Cleanup

You can now remove…

Part 1 Game files/folders – Save the compressed files in case you need the images again

Part 2 Raw game folder – Save the compressed files just in case

The master branch zip file & folder

Blobs/out/Script from the RpgMakerVXAce Translator 0.10c folder.

■ How to update game translations – Go to “Return to scripts”

■ Updating the Game to v2.24 or above

Re-Download the game from DLSite once v2.24 been released

http://www.dlsite.com/ecchi-eng/work/=/product_id/RE201109.html

Verify on Dargoth’s site that the translation process will work on your new patch release version

https://dargoth.com/

Start the steps from “Return to scripts”

To patch with Steve Judd’s scripts that add the With Cheese
functionality to them
Step 1 and 1a, download both “MGQ Paradox 2 Translator + Resizer + Cheese v6.8.7z” and
“v223_Equip_Patch.7z” from https://bitbucket.org/steveju/testrepo/downloads/

Step 1b) extract Patch.rb with 7zip from v223_equip_patch.7z and place it in the patch folder of the
extracted raw game from the instructions above and allow it to overwrite the 1KB file in the folder.

Step 2) Download Dargoth’s latest master repo and extract it via 7zip

Note: If filenames have blank boxes instead of japanese text you’re going to have a bad day and will need
to start from the top of the document to get the localization working again.
Step 3) Extract MGQ Paradox 2 Translator + Resizer + Cheese v6.8.7z with 7zip and put it in a safe
location for reuse.

Note: Depending on your OS when you downloaded it, it likely replaced the + with %2B, I’d suggest
minimizing the length of the file name removing all special characters before extracting it.

Step 4) Copy the translation files to the following example folder - Alter to suit your environment

Games\Monster Girl Paradox Part 2\MGQ Paradox 2 Translator + Resizer + Cheese v6.8\Translation Files

Step 5) Run the file RUNME.bat in the MGQ Paradox 2 Translator + Resizer + Cheese v6.8 base folder.

How to add the additional translations outside of Dargoth’s

translations -- If you see anyone from the Dokudoku
Translations team give them a shout out and thanks in the
proper Discord channels.

https://bitbucket.org/DokudokuTeamTranslations/dokudoku-amateur-translation-team/downloads/

There is a how to within the Downloads on how to add their translations to the game on top of what
Dargoth has already completed. Do note just dropping their translation files in the proper folders within
the script folder will come up with a fair deal of conflicting files to sort through “about 1208 last I
checked”

Below is an echo of their how to file and I take 0 credit for writing it. :) Again thank their team for all of
it.

Tutorial:

Step 1: Have the latest version (2.23) of Monster Girl Quest Paradox

This is important: you must be patching a 2.23 game of Paradox.

You can tell what verison you have by the number that appears on the top-left of the title screen when
you run the game.
If the version number is anything other than 2.23, you're playing an outdated game and need to acquire
the latest one.

If you've purchased this game before on DLSite, you can redownload the latest version without having to
buy it again.

At this point, your MGQ Paradox folder should only contain the files you extracted from the .zip package
it came in--nothing else, not even save files. If you have save files, please move them out of the folder
until you have successfully translated your game.

Step 2: Obtain the RPGMakerVXAce Translator

Now we need the program that will allow us to apply the translation, which is the RPGMakerVXAce
Translator.

You can find it at Dargoth's Bitbucket repository.

https://bitbucket.org/dargothtranslations/mgq-paradox-2/src/master/

Click the Downloads tab, and you should find "RpgMakerVXAce Translator 0.10c.7z" among the available
downloads.

Save it, and extract its contents wherever you like--preferably in a new folder outside of your MGQ
Paradox folder.

Step 3: Run the Ytinasni.RpgMaker.GameSelector.exe

There should be a file called "Ytinasni.RpgMaker.GameSelector.exe" among the files you extracted.

Run it, and it will prompt you to input the directory of your MGQ Paradox Game.exe file.

If you don't feel like typing it all out, a simple method is to right-click Game.exe, click Properties,

copy the file path shown there, and paste it into the prompt. Press Enter, and let the program run its
course--during this time,

it will generate a bunch of files, most notably a Blobs folder.

This might also be a good time to mention you should have some disk space available--as the Blobs
folder can grow quite large--mine is up to 10GBs

in size, so that should be about how much disk space you should set aside.
You'll need to set aside a few GBs more later once you actually run the translator a few steps later...

As the GameSelector nears the end of its process, a folder called Script should be generated.

This is where the game's text script is located, and what really matters when it comes to translating your
game.

Once the GameSelector is done, it should tell you to press any key to exit. That means it's time for the
next step, which is...

Step 4: Replace the Japanese scripts with the translated ones

The Script folder contains all of MGQ Paradox's text inside of it. Right now, all of the scripts are in their
oriignal Japanese state.

The way we translate our game is by replacing all of these Japanese scripts with the translated English
scripts from the translation team.

First off, there's Dargoth's translations--which is pretty much the bulk of the translated script. Once
agian, go to his Bitbucket repository

https://bitbucket.org/dargothtranslations/mgq-paradox-2/src/master/

Click the Downloads tab, and click "Download Repository" to acquire all the scripts in a single zip
package.

The next place that most people probably aren't aware of, is Arzorx's bitbucket.

This contains the scripts for things like Talk scripts, H-scenes, Pocket Castle interacitons, and all that fun
stuff.

There are over 900 or so translated scripts here. Do the same thing here, go to the Download Tab and
download the repository.

https://bitbucket.org/ArzorX/dokudoku-amateur-translation-team/src/master/

Once you've download the script packages, start by unpacking the contents of Dargoth's package into
the Script folder that was

generated by the GameSelector. Click Yes whenever asked to replace the existing files.
If you want to use the additional translations from Arzorx's bitbucket, unpack the contents after you've
replaced the original Japanese files

with Dargoth's. Doing it in this order ensures you have both sets of translated files.

(There may be a day when these files will finally be merged into Dargoth's bitbucket, but for now, this is
what you have to do.)

Step 5: Run the Ytinasni.RpgMaker.Translator.exe

Once you've replaced the Japanese scripts with the translated ones,

it's now time to translate the game by running the "Ytinasni.RpgMaker.Translator.exe". Just run it, and
wait a while.

It will check all of your scripts first to ensure there are no errors (and there hopefully shouldn't be any, or
our translators have really screwed up),

then begin compiling them. You'll know it's done when you get the "press any key" line.

Your translated game will be generated in a folder called "out" along where your RPGMakerVXAce
Translator is.

Look inside it, run Game.exe, and you should now be playing a (mostly) translated copy of Monster Girl
Quest Paradox!

If you had moved your save files out of the original Japanese Paradox folder,

you may now relocate them into your translated Paradox folder to pick up from where you left off.
