About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Junior Clinical Psychologist with
a B.Sc. in Clinical Psychology to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate
will support senior psychologists in providing psychological assessments,
therapy, and counselling services to a diverse client population. This entry-level
role is designed for recent graduates who are eager to apply their academic
knowledge in a real-world setting while gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Assessment and Support:
o Assist in conducting initial psychological assessments, including
interviews, behavioural observations, and administering
standardized tests.
o Support senior psychologists in developing and implementing
treatment plans tailored to individual clients.
o Provide ongoing emotional and therapeutic support under
supervision.
Therapeutic Interventions:
o Assist in conducting individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing
evidence-based techniques.
o Monitor client progress and document therapeutic sessions in
accordance with clinical guidelines.
o Work with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care to clients.
Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including case
notes, assessments, and progress reports.
o Prepare reports for senior staff and participate in case discussions
and treatment planning meetings.
Professional Development:
o Engage in continuous professional development, including attending
training sessions, workshops, and supervision meetings.
o Stay updated on the latest research and practices in clinical
psychology.
Community Outreach:

o Participate in mental health awareness programs and workshops
organized by the clinic/hospital.
o Assist in the development of educational materials for clients and
their families.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Clinical Psychology or a related field from an accredited
institution.
Strong understanding of psychological theories, practices, and ethical
guidelines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work empathetically with diverse populations.
Basic proficiency in using psychological assessment tools.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship or practicum experience in a clinical setting.
Familiarity with mental health documentation software.
Basic knowledge of therapeutic approaches like CBT, DBT, or other
relevant modalities.
