RE: Letter of Program and Budget Proposal/Action Plan for English Month
DATE: November 07, 2024
Dear Ms. Comendador
Greetings of Peace and Solidarity!
In line with the annual celebration of the English & Book Month, the English Club of FEU-Roosevelt Cainta would
like to request your good office to allow us to spearhead a month-long celebration of English & Book Month with
the theme, “Adapting: The Art of Learning and the Power of Re-learning Literature” from November 11 –
November 29, 2024.
This celebration aims to showcase the transformative power of both learning and re-learning in literature. By
revisiting classic works and exploring contemporary pieces, we encourage students to see literature as a dynamic
tool for personal growth and creative expression. Through a series of thoughtfully planned activities, we hope
to engage students in meaningful and enjoyable ways, enhancing their linguistic abilities and fostering a renewed
appreciation for the art of adaptation in literature.
The English Club has put together a variety of activities and competitions aimed at creating an exciting and
immersive English language experience for both junior and senior high school students at FEUR-Cainta. These
events are designed to improve language skills, encourage artistic expression, ignite a love for literature, and
foster a sense of social responsibility. Here are the activities and contests we will be leading:

books can be the perfect
expression of care and
connection, adding a unique
literary twist to the holiday of
love.
