video calls, text messaging and media. It is considered as
communication technology because it transmits
information from one person to another or through group chats.

software. It gives you the tools to easily manage your

b. Procore – Good for project task management. With
this, all employees have access to task-related information.

manufacturing design and engineering. Its mostly used more by
businesses who use it for generative design, simulation and additive

a. Google Assistant – AI assistant for android devices and Google smart
speakers. It is used for managing schedules and answering queries.

trends.

a. OpenAI - Leading AI research organization focused on ensuring that

b. DeepMind - Known for breakthroughs like AlphaGo, DeepMind works on
AI that could lead to superintelligent systems, with an emphasis on

accessible for people with disabilities. It is considered as assistive
 technology because it is used to accomplish task like making a text turns
into speech.
b. JAWS (Job Access with Speech - It’s commonly used by people who are
blind or have low vision to access websites, documents, emails, and other
digital content.

equipment, and generates alerts for abnormal conditions.

parts of a plant by centralizing control and data acquisition into one system.

mining techniques to analyze historical data and predict future outcomes. This
technology helps businesses anticipate trends, make informed decisions, and
optimize operations.
• Cloud Computing – it refers to the delivery of computing services such as servers,
storage, databases, networking, software, and analytics over the Internet. This
allows businesses and individuals to access and use technology resources without
having to own or maintain physical infrastructure.
