Re: Consulting - New Grad Fall 2025 Problem Solver role at Deloitte Canada
Growing up across various countries in Latin America, I witnessed firsthand the power of community in
addressing modern challenges. This experience instilled in me a passion for fostering connections and
finding innovative solutions to complex problems. I am excited about the opportunity to join Deloitte
as a Problem Solver because of the firm’s emphasis on building strong relationships and making a
positive societal impact. My leadership experience, problem-solving mindset, and adaptability make
me a strong candidate for this role.
In my Double Major journey in International Relations and Political Science at the University of British
Columbia, I have actively engaged in roles that strengthened my organizational and leadership skills.
As a Social Coordinator for the Arts Undergraduate Society (AUS), I managed logistics and operations
for major events, including UBC’s largest Charity Gala and graduation celebrations. Balancing event
coordination with academic responsibilities required discipline, adaptability, and strong stakeholder
management. Additionally, as a Cultural Assistant at the English Language Institute (ELI), I led
initiatives that immersed exchange students in cultural experiences, honing my ability to create
inclusive environments while introducing them to key social issues like sustainability and Indigenous
culture.
To further develop my leadership abilities, I took on more challenging roles, including VP External of
the Political Science Students’ Association (PSSA) and Founder/President of the Latino Leaders
Association (LLA). At the PSSA, I led a successful AUS grant application by synthesizing data-driven
research to optimize resources and presenting findings to the AMS council, improving both my
analytical and communication skills. At the LLA, I focused on building a sustainable team and work
structure, overseeing everything from marketing design to financial management, while mentoring
other executives. These experiences reinforced my ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and lead
diverse teams toward shared goals.
I am particularly drawn to Deloitte’s problem solver path because of its focus on using advanced
technologies to drive real-world solutions and its commitment to client relationships and broader
societal progress. I believe my cross-cultural experiences, strategic mindset, and dedication to
fostering connections align perfectly with Deloitte’s mission to help clients achieve meaningful
outcomes.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I am eager to contribute to Deloitte’s mission and am
willing to relocate across Canada. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how I can add value to
your team.
Best regards,
Domenica Loor

I am thrilled to apply for the Internal Audit Consultant position at Deloitte. With a passion for auditing
and continuous improvement, I am drawn to Deloitte's innovative approach to risk management and
its commitment to fostering a people-first culture. My hands-on experience in full-cycle audit
engagements, aptitude for leveraging technology, and ability to lead and collaborate effectively make
me a strong candidate for this role.
During the Bon Vivant Audit Simulation Assignment at the University of Toronto, I honed my skills in
planning, executing, and concluding audit engagements. As a junior auditor, I led the planning phase
by coordinating team meetings, clarifying project requirements, and developing organizational tools
that enhanced team efficiency. This experience solidified my ability to align audit processes with
organizational goals while fostering collaboration—a core tenet of Deloitte's Internal Audit team.
In the performance phase, I conducted risk assessments, tests of controls, and substantive testing,
including accounts receivable audits. I utilized Power BI to visualize data and identify anomalies,
improving both analysis accuracy and efficiency. These technical skills have equipped me to navigate
complex datasets and provide actionable insights, aligning seamlessly with Deloitte's emphasis on
leveraging technology in audit processes.
The simulation concluded with a final score of 96%, earning recognition for my leadership and

Re: Consultant, Compliance and Operational Risk (Non-Financial), New Grad Fall 2025 role
I am writing to express my interest for the Consultant, Compliance and Operational Risk (Non-
Financial), New Grad Fall 2025 role. As a recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial
Automation Engineering and a current Master’s student in Manufacturing Engineering, I am excited
about the opportunity to apply my academic knowledge and hands-on experience in a dynamic and
fast-paced environment. My educational background has provided me with a strong foundation in
process automation engineering making me well-suited for this role. My experience as a Quality
Supervisor at General Motors, where I managed the final inspection line for trucks, has honed my
leadership abilities in a high-pressure environment. This role required quick decision-making, effective
communication with cross-functional teams, and the ability to adapt to flexible working hours and
rotating shifts which are qualities that I am eager to bring here.
Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have developed a range of technical skills that
are highly valuable in the manufacturing industry. I am proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and
Outlook, and have hands-on experience with statistical process analysis using Minitab. My certification
in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt has equipped me with the tools to drive continuous improvement and
optimize processes using DMAIC methodology. Additionally, ability to perform statistical analysis,
gained through both academic coursework and practical application at GM, allows me to identify and
address operator or machine errors effectively. During my work as a quality supervisor, I showed
proficiency in using Microsoft Excel functions and VBA scripts to automate visual aids for data tracking
that allowed management to observe if operators were meeting performances and identifying areas
which need corrective action to meet a higher compliance rate. I have experience performing fault
diagnostics research through projects in my Masters. I used Python programming to build
classification models that predicted motor failures by analyzing vibration in 3-axes and current
analysis.
I am confident that my technical expertise, combined with my leadership experience and passion
makes me a strong candidate for this role. I am eager to contribute to your team and further develop
my skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. Thank you for considering my application.
Please feel free to contact me at [email protected].

I am excited to apply for the New Grad Consultant position in the Compliance and Operational Risk
(Non-Financial) team at Deloitte, starting in Fall 2025. With a strong academic foundation in
Computing Science and hands-on experience in business technology solutions, I am confident in my
ability to blend technical expertise with interpersonal skills to support clients in managing risk and
achieving sustainable growth.
I was fortunate to gain invaluable insights during my internship with Deloitte, where I engaged in
discussions with directors and partners across multiple regions. These conversations highlighted the
importance of building a personal brand and emphasized how critical interpersonal skills are to success
in the consulting world. While technical expertise is vital, it is my ability to connect with clients,
understand their unique challenges, and communicate effectively that sets me apart. This realization
has driven my passion for combining technical knowledge with relationship-building in every project I
undertake.
Reflecting on the wisdom gained from those interactions, I’d like to introduce myself:
In my experience, consultants often excel at stakeholder communication but may lack deep technical
expertise, while developers possess strong technical skills but may struggle with client-facing
communication. I see myself as the ideal bridge between these worlds—offering both strong
stakeholder engagement and technical proficiency, making me uniquely positioned to deliver solutions
that others may struggle to connect.
My diverse industry experience spans consulting, mining, government, teaching, and manufacturing,
providing me with a unique perspective on the varied needs of clients. I’ve honed the ability to
understand and adapt to the challenges clients face in different sectors, from safety in mining to
efficiency and innovation in manufacturing. This experience has strengthened my ability to build
effective relationships and effectively understanding the needs of clients.
I am eager to join Deloitte’s Compliance and Operational Risk team because of its focus on
safeguarding stakeholder interests and strengthening first and second lines of defence processes.
While I am still expanding my expertise in risk management frameworks, my adaptable mindset and
passion for learning will enable me to quickly acquire the necessary skills. I am confident that my
ability to think strategically, work collaboratively, and adapt to new challenges will allow me to
contribute meaningfully to your team’s success.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my skills
and experiences align with the goals of Deloitte’s Compliance and Operational Risk team.
Sincerely,
Geetanshu Kamboj

Re: Consultant, Compliance and Operational Risk (Non-Financial), New Grad Fall 2025 role
I am writing to express my enthusiastic interest in the Compliance and Operational Risk New Grad
2025 role at Deloitte Consulting. As a Biomechanical Engineering student at Queen’s University, with a
strong foundation in strategic problem-solving and innovation, I am eager to contribute to Deloitte’s
mission of making an impact that matters. My conversation with Paul Blais, Managing Director in
Economic Advisory, at Deloitte’s networking event at the Smith School of Business reinforced my
enthusiasm for Deloitte’s culture and commitment to excellence.
One of my favourite parts of studying engineering is learning the practical, real-world application of
our solutions. This is why I was excited to read about Deloitte’s commitment to creating pragmatic
solutions that drive impact. Through the process I became aware of the importance of risk assessment
and mitigation, as well as compliance adherence. I am excited by the opportunity to work alongside
Deloitte professionals and develop more skills to help clients in this space in a variety of sectors and
industries.
I gained experience in consulting, and more specifically problem solving through strategic data-driven
analysis in my internships at MNP Digital and Arteria AI. At MNP Digital, I developed a future state
service delivery model that significantly enhanced client service efficiency by streamlining operations.
I conducted a thorough impact assessment and gap analysis, leading to actionable improvements in
client care. Additionally, I contributed to the firm’s business development, drafting a risk mitigation
plan for proposals. At Arteria AI, I worked directly with the CEO to draft speeches that communicated
strategic insights within the rapidly evolving generative AI space. My contributions helped shape key
messaging that positioned the company as a thought leader in the industry. These experiences have
strengthened my ability to drive impactful outcomes in complex business environments.
In both firms we were focused on addressing client needs in a variety of sectors. My projects at Arteria
included work in legal, government and fintech while at MNP clients were all in the public sector.
Throughout my engineering education, I have completed several design projects in sectors including
technology, renewable energy, manufacturing, and healthcare.
In my final year of study, I honed my problem-solving skills by collaborating with three peers on a
client-focused capstone project. Capstone projects are specifically designed to integrate all elements
of the engineering design process. My team and I worked for a neurosurgeon, developing a
neurological suction tip for real-time tissue analysis during glioblastoma tumor removal. I used Quality
Functional Deployment (QFD) to prioritize user needs and translate them into design requirements.
After conducting in-lab testing and data analysis, we finalized the design through a collaborative
process. To manage risk, we performed Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and used Finite
Element Analysis (FEA) to confirm structural integrity. Additionally, lifecycle and economic analyses
were conducted to optimize cost efficiency and minimize environmental impact.
Throughout the project, we presented biweekly updates to our professor, effectively communicating
our progress and results, challenges, questions, and next steps. At the culmination of the project, we
delivered a poster presentation to the department head, showcasing the design's innovation and
impact. This experience demonstrated my skills in risk assessments, innovative problem-solving, and
collaborative teamwork.
Thank you for considering my application. I hope to bring my analytical thinking, adaptability, ability to
quickly learn different industries, and leadership skills to Deloitte Consulting. I look forward to the
possibility of contributing to your team and would welcome the opportunity to discuss my application
further.
Sincerely,
Maya Kerzner
