ABSTRACT
This project involves a combination of subjects’ knowledge, process skills and transferable abilities.
Learners have to apply classroom knowledge and skills proactively in a real-life context for an
extended period of time. Each learner will be required to run a real life project outside classroom
time. At the end of every academic year a learner should have a visible real life project on the ground
to be authenticated by UBTEB and the major activities carried out in the field included installation of
both electrical and solar components such as security lights, repair of solar batteries, carrying out
conduit work on buildings, making earthing and installation of solar systems on buildings

CHAPTER ONE

1. INTRODUCTION

This field report shows all the activities we students we engaged in during the internship at Kasule
Electricals and Solar Systems from 16th December 2024 to 25th January 2025. In the supervision of
Mr. KASULE COSMAS
This report is made up of four chapters which consist of the all activities carried out, hazards
faced, risks and precautions. This report also shows how I applied the techniques and principles I
learnt theoretically by analyzing and solving real life challenges.

1.1 AREA SCOPE

Kasule Electricals and Solar Systems has been my area scope and it is located on in Nyendo
Kitovu road in Masaka city.

1.1.2 TIME SCOPE

Internship at has been for six weeks and it began on 16th December 2024 to 25th January 2025.

CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

4.1 CONCLUSIONS

Kasule Electrical and solar system service ltd has played a very big role in helping me and my
fellow students in intern through teaching us and showing us the real life in electrical installation.
That is to say challenges in electrical installation, different wiring systems, site planning and
counting materials which are good for the installation thus enabling us to put in practice what we
have study at school.

4.2 RECOMMENDATIONS

4.2.1. To kasule Electrical and solar system service ltd. The board of kasule Electrical and solar
system should increase on the number of partner organization in order to widen on its market
since sometimes we have been not working due to few domestic jobs available to support
internees in domestic installation, repair and maintenance. The organization should also take a
step in awarding certificates to the internees as a way of proving their skills. The organization
should also give assistance to facilitate trainees during internship.

4.2.2. To the institute. The students should be given enough time to do internship and also visit
other institutes so as to widen their knowledge. Students should as well be given supervision from
the institutes so as to bridge the gap between the organization and the institute to enhance
cooperation. Students should as well be given enough time to write reports so as to enable them
write down all their field experiences.

4.2.3. The student. The students should keep maximum discipline when there are at work and
they should show respect each other
