Rules and Procedure
The Top 30 Authors from the Regional Rounds shall qualify to the
National Rounds.
THEME – CONSTITUTIONAL LAW OF INDIA
COMPETITION PROPOSITION - The Competition runs on a
very simple line of Action. “Imagine, you were acting as the
Parliament of India for a day. You are given the power of making
any one Constitutional Amendment to the Indian Constitution.’’
This amendment may include any sort of addition/ alteration/
omission to the existing Articles or insertion of an altogether new
Article to the Constitution. In the mentioned scenario, ‘What’
would be the amendment that you shall come up with and ‘Why?’
Each Participant has to insert ONLY ONE Amendment to ONLY
ONE Article of the Constitution, or can alternatively insert ONLY

ONE New Article (Along with its Article Number) to the
Constitution.
The Submission of Link for the Amendment has already been
shared with the participants, through these Guidelines as well as
through the Official Email containing these Guidelines. The
Deadline to Submit your Amendment for consideration is –
October 9, 10:00 P.M. and no further. NO SUBMISSIONS IN
ANY CASE ARE ACCEPTABLE BEYOND THE DEADLINE.

Kindly Submit the Amendment in a Word Document. You may
adhere to any Font, with the Font Size as 12.
The Organizing team is very strict on deadlines. No Submissions
shall be accepted beyond the Deadline.
The Word Limit is 500-1100 Words.
Plagiarism above 20 percent shall result into summary rejection.
If the Submission is co authored, in the Submission Form Name
Section – mention the Name of both Authors.
There is no requirement to adhere to any specific format. The
Amendment has to be in your own words.
The Adjudication shall be taken care of by the Evaluation Committee. The
Working Committee is responsible to ensure that all the communication duly
reaches out to the participants.
This is to ensure complete transparency, which ensures anonymity of the
participants.
