Job Title: Project Manager – Technical

Manufacturing, Energy, Metals and Mining, Power Industry (Solar, Wind, Thermal,
Hydro)

What We are Looking For:

This role will primarily be required to project manage a broad team of internal and
external resources who is developing client software.

Stakeholder engagement will form a key part of the role and will include soliciting
end-user feedback, prioritizing requirements, and then translating scopes of work for
implementation for the development team.

The role is focused on the successful development and rollout of the customized
software, which is used to identify, analyze, monitor, and report on potential
equipment defects that require maintenance intervention.

What Work you could do as a Project Manager:

• Develop, and manage, the customized software’s long-term vision based on


user and business requirements.
• Ensure the agile development process remains aligned with the long-term
vision.
• General project management of vendors (POs, meetings, schedules, quality
assurance, etc.)
• Collect and prioritize feedback on UX design and feature requests from the
Condition Monitoring Analysts (CMAs)
• Develop, and manage, the change-management and project-communications
plans.
• Measure and communicate the impact, and value, of the project.
• Engage with internal IT teams to ensure software complies with technology
standards and has a long-term plan for supportability.
• Support CMAs, identify software bugs and, on occasion, modify existing code
and documentation.

Required Skills, Experience & Educational Qualification:

• IT systems development, UX design, and coding


• Project management (software or complex technology projects highly
desirable)
• Asset management, reliability or predictive maintenance, and condition
monitoring (desirable)
• Ops Technology and operational data systems (desirable)

Non-technical skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly.
• Self-motivated.
• Passion for quality and excellence.
• Enjoys customer interaction.

Knowledge:

• Strong business acumen

Relevant tertiary qualifications such as: Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, electrical,


mechatronic, etc.)

Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Operational


technology, or equivalent industry experience
