THE PROBLEM
College life can be exciting but also overwhelming. Post-pandemic, many students face
challenges like:

● Stress about academics and future careers


● Difficulty maintaining healthy relationships
● Unmanaged mental health issues, leading to anxiety, burnout, or isolation

Without timely support, these challenges can affect academic performance, personal well-being,
and long-term mental health.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
VISION AND MISSION
EMOTIVE aims to create emotionally resilient students who thrive academically and personally
by:

● Raising awareness about mental health.


● Building skills to manage emotions.
● Providing timely support to students in need.

Mission: To empower students to take charge of their mental health and create a culture of
empathy on campus.
Vision: To develop mentally resilient and emotionally intelligent student communities across
India.

OBJECTIVES
1. One-on-One Support: Offer personalised counselling to address individual challenges.
2. Group Wellness Activities: Create a sense of community and shared emotional
understanding.
3. Empowering Faculty: Train faculty to understand and support students better.

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
What We Offer
● Mental Health Awareness Sessions: Understand stress, anxiety, and emotions better.
● Group Therapy & Wellness Activities: Fun, interactive sessions focused on topics like
managing peer pressure, self-esteem, and career anxiety.
● Individual Counseling: One-on-one support for students dealing with personal
challenges.
● Faculty Development: Workshops for teachers to help them identify and support
struggling students.

OUR PLAN
Months 1-2 (April–May)
● Launch the program: Assess student needs and collect data through tools.
● Share individual wellness reports with students.

Months 3-5 (July–September)


● Start Emotive Awareness Sessions on Emotional Skills.
● Begin personal counselling and therapy sessions.
● Conduct faculty training programs (twice a quarter).

Month 6 (October)
● Host Empathy Month: Train selected students to act as peer supporters (2 per class).

Months 7-9 (November–January)


● Group therapy and wellness workshops for priority groups.
● Conduct expert-led seminars on mental health topics.
