JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - QAQC Engineer
Quality Assurance & Control
• Observed and implemented the company's quality policy, ensuring compliance throughout the
project.
• Developed the Project Quality Plan (PQP) in accordance with project specifications.
• Prepared quality documents, including method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), checklists,
final inspections, and handover documentation.
• Reviewed and verified all material submittals, IFC drawings, and shop drawings for compliance with
project specifications.
• Inspected delivered materials on-site and verified related documents to obtain approvals from the
relevant authorities prior to installation work.
• Conducted work inspections with consultants and the main contractor as per ITP requirements.
Documentation
• Maintained all quality-related documents, logs, equipment calibration lists, etc.
• Review and approved material submittals, inspection requests, and other quality documentation
from contractors and suppliers.
• Reviewed as-built/red mark-up drawings and prepared operation & maintenance manuals.
Coordination
• Coordinated with subcontractors for discipline clearance on-site.
• Collaborated with Site Engineers and consultants on technical and quality aspects.
• Coordinated with the main contractor and consultants on a daily basis to ensure overall site activities
comply with specifications, method statements, and approved shop drawings.
Problem Resolution
• Identify and resolve quality issues and discrepancies during construction.
• Propose corrective and preventive actions for non-conformance reports (NCRs) and monitor their
implementation.
Continuous Improvement:
• Conducted internal audits on a monthly basis, reporting site quality findings to management and
assisting in quality improvement efforts.
• Issued internal observation and snag reports, providing necessary support to the site team to
minimize the final punch list from consultants/clients.
