GUIDELINES

MODELMATRIX
Each team is required to bring a well-prepared 3D model
addressing the chosen Problem Statement on the second
day of the event, and position it at the designated location.
Teams will have a 3-minute slot to present their 3D model.
It is mandatory for all six members of the team to actively
participate in the presentation.
The display must prominently feature the project's title.
Design Intent: The model should effectively address the
requirements of the given problem statement and should
be user-friendly.
Model Quality: This pertains to the technical aspects of
your design, encompassing resolution, topology,
dimensions, and orientation of your 3D model, all of which
must meet specified criteria.
Cost Efficiency: It is imperative that the model is
developed in a manner that minimizes expenses.
Ensure you are well-versed in the theme of Scivision 3.0,
enabling you to align your project with the event's
overarching goals and objectives.
Additionally, prepare any supplementary materials like a
presentation, report, or documentation to complement
your 3D model. This will provide valuable context and
Information about your project.
Maximum dimensions for your project should not exceed
3x3x3 feet.
GUIDELINES
MYSTERY MAZE
‘Artifact Hunt’ Scenario: An apocalyptic storm is closing in on
Earth, and Science has no answers. Legends speak of ancient
artifacts- powerful relics that might hold the key to salvation.
But which one? Travel across the globe, uncover hidden
secrets, and solve cryptic clues to discover the artifact that
can save humanity before time runs out!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Starting point for all teams will be the ‘Head Quarters’.
Briefing will be given to all the teams. Each team will be given
their respective :
1. TEAM CARD (or ‘Scouts’ Ledger’ ): A customized
card for each team, where Teams will record their
investigations/ finding or take NOTES. On its back, the
names of all 24 ROOMS (located across the 1st and 2nd
floors) will ne mentioned.
2. CLUE CARD: The first clue card received at the
‘Head Quarters’ will reveal Team’s next destination
through an easy RIDDLE. Similar CLUE CARDS will be
received at the end of each ROOM ACTIVITY.
3. NAVIGATION HANDOUT: This lists down the
fundamental steps to follow for the Mystery Maze.
4. FOLDER: An empty folder, to save all findings /
clues during the scavenger hunt.
NOTE: For the Mystery Maze to be considered
‘COMPLETED’, a team MUST submit the folder back to the
Head Quarters with:
All 16 Clue Cards &
The Team Card / Scouts’ Ledger with complete
findings/ data.

FUTURE QUEST
Rule for Participation:
1. Any 3 participants from each team will take part in the quiz.
2. There will be a total of three levels. Levels 1 and 2 will be
held on Day 1, and Level 3 on Day 2.
3. The management reserves the right to disqualify any
participant found doing any suspicious activity.
4. Please bring your own charged mobile phones/tablets/
laptops for the event.
5. Please elect a leader from amongst the entire team, and
share their email with us.

Day 1:
Venue: Ground B

Level 1:
1. There are a total of 30 MCQs, which will be attempted as a
team and will need to be answered within 25 minutes.

FUTURE QUEST
Level 2:
1. There will be a total of 8 submodules, where each
submodule will have 10 MCQs each.
2. Each submodule will need to be attempted as a team, and a
total of 10 minutes per submodule will be alloted.
3. The QR code or link for the submodules will be shared via
email.

Results:
The result will be compiled by summing the scores of Rounds 1
and 2 of each team. The top 2 teams will then qualify for
Round 3. In case of a tie, the time taken by teams will be the
deciding factor.

Day 2:

Round 1:

There are a total of 7 questions from each team, with each
question carrying 1 mark. 30 seconds per question will be
alloted.

Round 2:
There are a total of 3 questions for each team, with each
member having to answer 1 question. Each question carries 1
mark.

Results:
The team with the highest cumulative score of Round 3 will be
declared the winner, earning the title of "Quiz Wiz". In case of
a tie, tie breaker questions will be held in the same manner as
Level 1.
GUIDELINES
EXPLORERS’ PODIUM
Day 1:
Format:
The World Debate Style will be adhered to for the entirety of
the competition. Teams will receive a designated roadmap
upon registration, outlining their roles as either Team
Affirmative or Team Negative in each of the three rounds.

Rounds:
There will be a total of three rounds, each lasting
approximately 50 minutes.

Preparation Time:
Teams will be granted 10 minutes of preparation time, during
which they are permitted to use their own gadgets for
research purposes. While internet connectivity will be
provided, it is greatly appreciated if you bring your own
internet device for enhanced connectivity, ensuring a
smoother experience and avoiding any potential
inconvenience.

Speaking Order:
The speaking order will follow the sequence below:

1. Affirmative Speaker 1
2. Negative Speaker 1
3. Affirmative Speaker 2
4. Negative Speaker 2
5. Affirmative Speaker 3
6. Negative Speaker 3

EXPLORERS’ PODIUM
Individual Speaking Time:
Each participant, up to a maximum of three per team, will have
a maximum speaking time of five minutes.

Feedback:
At the conclusion of each round, each team will have a
maximum of one minute to provide constructive feedback.

Adjudication Criteria:
The debate will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

IEvery participating school is anticipated to send one


adjudicator alongside their team, preferably an English
Language teacher. While it is not mandatory that we request
their adjudication for all three rounds, we would greatly
appreciate their involvement when needed.
GUIDELINES
EXPLORERS’ PODIUM
Day 2: Level 2 Competition
Objective:
The objective of this debating contest is to provide a platform
for students to engage in intellectual discussions, critical
thinking, and effective communication on the topic "(will be
declared later)".
Competition Format: (Ted Talk Style)
1. Two winners from Day 1 will participate in the Level 2
competition.
2. The topic will be shared extempore, and the decision to
argue for or against will be decided by a toss.
3. The competition will consist of three rounds:
- Round 1: Introduction and stance (1 minute per speaker)
- Round 2: Low-order thinking questions (2 minutes per team)
- Round 3: Higher-order thinking questions (2 minutes per
team)
4. Audience polls will be conducted after each round to
evaluate the teams' scores.
5. The audience poll will be considered the final decision.
6. In case of a tie, one of the "Higher Thinking Order" rounds
will be played again.
Audience Polling:
1. Four rounds of polls will be conducted:
- Pre-debate poll (to gauge audience stance)
- Post-round polls (three rounds to gauge how speakers
influence audience stance/decision)
2. The audience poll results will be used to determine the
winner.
Adjudication:
1. The decision of the audience poll will be final and binding.
2. In case of any discrepancies or ties, Round 3: Higher-order
thinking questions (2 minutes per team) will be applied.
